As long as you're healthy otherwise, I don't see how a few of them every few months could hurt you. I doubt it's any worse than taking one of those energy drinks.

Drinking a couple cups of coffee everyday is probably much worse than what you're doing.

They're powerful stimulants...I took ritalin for ADD for 10 years and I'm in good health. However I got worried about long term side effects and found a natural solution.

There are no negative side effects of aderol that I know of. I wrote an article about it for the school paper and the worst the doctor could come up with was, "anytime you take a prescription drug your not prescribed your in danger. You don't know how your body will react." Bla, bla, bla, no specific side effects. It reportedly works great.

Don't those drugs need a while to take effect anyway? So even if you take them they won't help much in a couple weeks.

How are you getting them anyway? I might try one and see what happens...

In my experience aderall isn't practical at all. Sure, it'll keep you awake, but that's about it. Expect a severe nose dive in quality of work done and I'll never attempt to try and study on the stuff again. It's great when you have to do a bunch of stupid gruntwork and it doesn't matter how bad it is, but otherwise meh.

I'm pretty sure that there are some side effects too, but I sure can't remember em. Which is pathetic, because I just looked into it a couple months ago.

I'm wondering, do you retain everything you learn as well as when you don't take the drug?

you remember it better actually... it stimulates the nervous system and your memory improves.

I kinda agree with this. Aderall is good for getting chores or other physical labor done, b/c that's the kind of energy I got from it. Ritalin is the one that'll make you focus better. I'd use Ritalin to study, and Aderall if you just want to be more energetic. Just don't develop a habit, or you can mess yourself up.

A friend was self-medicating and was taking a few ritalin and an aderall per day. I don't know if he had ADD, or if he was just doing it for kicks. But a few months later, he has heart problems and had to go to the hospital. Docs told him to never touch the amphetamines again (not sure if it was just a scare tactic), and now he's on heart medication. But for all I know, he could have had a previous heart condition. The moral of the story is to err on the side of caution. PEACE.

Adderall side effects include overstimulation of the central nervous system, dizziness, difficulty sleeping, tremors, headaches, hyperactivity, and tics or Tourettes Syndrome.

A common Adderall side effect is a dry mouth, a bad taste in the mouth, diarrhea, constipation, upset stomach, and loss of appetite. Children often lose weight when taking stimulants. Stimulants may reduce growth rates in children.

Sexual dysfunction is a common problem in adults using stimulants.
