Just getting this out of the way:

The latest RoadCraft trailer puts a spotlight on the three rugged forest maps you'll explore in the upcoming construction simulation game. Check out the trailer for a peek at the Incommunicado map where you'll restore power and reconnect communications, the Sunken map where you'll repair factories and rebuild transport, and the Deluge map where you must navigate floods and restore systems. RoadCraft will be available on PC, PS5 (PlayStation 5), and Xbox Series X/S on May 20, 2025.

In RoadCraft, take control of heavy machinery and rebuild industries in devastated regions. Experience advanced real-time physics as you manage resources, tackle challenges, and reshape the aftermath. You can also team up with up to 4 players in co-op to rebuild together.

Check out 10 new minutes of gameplay from RoadCraft, the upcoming construction site vehicle sim that will have you piloting Earthmovers, road pavers, and all sorts of other giant machinery. It's due out for PC on May 20.

I never thought I'd get hooked on games like this until I tried Expeditions Mudrunner. Almost 70 hours of solving dedicated challenges.

This one now appeals to me too.

P.S. Yes, the games on every Focus series are also surprisingly good graphically.

In RoadCraft, transporting isn't just moving, it's mastering. Move what matters, with the right truck for every job. Check out the latest RoadCraft trailer for this upcoming construction simulation game. RoadCraft will be available on PC, PS5 (PlayStation 5), and Xbox Series X/S on May 20, 2025.

Went in blind, Refunded.

Its like a baby's first Snowrunner. No fuel management or even vehicle damage..

Na, not for me.

Utterly pissed me off this has. I loved Mudrunners, but this is a bit too minimalist and dare I say 'Consolefied'

I'll check back, maybe they'll add more hard-core options but as it stands, not what I was expecting at all

A damn shame. Back to Snowrunner it is.

Having loads of fun with this, and thank fuck they left fuel out, with 40 vehicles that would get old real fast. As much of a huge mud/snowrunner fan as i am, this has so much more to it and i can see me playing for a lot longer

Take a look at the Launch Trailer for RoadCraft, a driving simulation game developed by Saber Interactive. Players will use specialized vehicles to clean debris and faulty equipment, rebuild roads and bridges damaged by weather, and much more. Make use of over 40 machines to drive to clean up 8 maps alone or with friends in 4-player co-op. RoadCraft is available now for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

Initially I thought I like Snowrunner more, but this game is really growing on me. I'm 100% done with 3 maps, currently on Sunken, just casually clearing up resources and debris and opening new paths. These games are really best played as sandbox rather than chasing the objectives at all costs.

Also hand loading cargo is quite fun:

Are you playing it solo then or?

I'm having a lot of fun with it is as well (or at least, I was until the Switch 2 release has totally distracted me!). I love how, as you say, it's very sandboxy, you can pretty much do things how you want. As in, instead of making a whole new road, I sometimes just dump loads of sand, smooth that out, and just let the convy trucks use that. The hours really fly by.

I have always been scare to play something like this. I could get lost in it for months...

Feck, that does sound very addictive lol.

This year's releases are already piling up for me and I really cant afford to grab this one as well. Not with Firebreak and other games coming out next week. :lollipop_weary:

I read a review where the reviewer recommended playing it with friends as the solo experience was much more punishing. Is this fun to play solo or is it like Space Marine 2 where you need to play it multiplayer to enjoy it?

I play solo and it's perfectly fine. And I don't mean that in a "you can play solo but it feels like it was designed for coop" way. I never felt like I was being punished for anything. Things just take a bit longer, that's all.
