Rob zombies The Munsters trailer

I am so confused. Is this a movie or a show? If a movie then it looks AWFUL, quality wise.

Also. I always confused the Munsters with the Adams family, since the characters look so similar or is there a direct relation?

He just does things because his wife wants to do something.

I know his music pretty well and I know he's done horror movies so while I'm sure his wife has something to do with it, everything he has his finger in is on brand.

His wife is in every movie he makes and other movies. She is lily munster in this movie.. I

I'm not disputing his nepotism, but it's obvious based on his music, movie sand TV shows that he digs horror and monsters.

You know what had higher production values? Big Bad Beetle Borgs.

They say they are going to start.
That's amazing. It's almost like they want to kill themselves off. I mean, is this like kind of a deal where a guy sets his own place on fire so he can get an insurance deal or something?

So, I think the new Munsters show looks kind of cute.

I like Rob Zombie and it's a long known fact that he is a big fan of the original television show so I really hope he does this justice.

I'm going to say that this is aimed at younger audiences. It's aimed at small children. But it's probably also aimed at people who are fans of the original. This trailer could be bad while the actual movie or show or whatever it is will be good.

How old is Sheri Moon Zombie? What, she has to be at least 50 years old right? I don't know but she still looks very good. I can't believe how sexy she looks as Lily.

Grandpa has always been my favorite character from the original show so I hope he's just as good as this as he is in the original.

This is one of those shows or movies or again, whatever it is supposed to be, a chance. Despite it looking bad, this could be a pleasant surprise. I wanted to succeed and I want Rob Zombie to succeed because he's one of my favorite, if not my favorite, heavy metal musician.

Sounds like Universal lost all faith in the movie. They gave Zombie a rumored 30-40M budget and just end up selling it to Netflix because they know no one will sign up to Peacock to watch it.

It's supposed to look like a show. The whole campy thing and all.

No relation except they were on TV at the same time (that I know of). I'm pretty sure networks used to compete with each other that way. Like Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres, I Dream of Jeanie and Bewitched, etc.

I'm baffled by how bad it looks, but i am definitely going to watch it. It being so bad actually makes it interesting.

The trailer made me go back and watch some of the original show again. Fred Gwynne is so damn good in it. Not sure what they were thinking with this weird high pitched modern version of Herman in comparison.

Put this on for 20 min last night…..

Being a professional in the film industry….i 100% could have done better.

The pacing the editing the writing and acting. Fckin horse shit. Cuts and transitions make no sense. Im convinced this ran out of budget super early on and no one could save it.

Style was decent though.

Aside from a couple chuckles this was a mess. Like I think they mostly meant well but the humor was all over the place, there was no real plot, and the whole movie looked super cheap. There were a few potentially interesting angles that they could have explored but the movie just doesn't bother. Herman is also a total misfire. The actor isn't a great fit to begin with but the new back story doesn't help matters and he comes off as far too unlikable most of the time.

Viva Rock Vegas was way better.

I liked HOATC, loved Devils Rejects, everything else he's done IMO has been either bad or meh...
I was intrigued when I heard about the project but all interest went away upon seeing the first trailer.
