RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business | Story Trailer

It seems to be a stand-alone game, rather than DLC. No word on whether there will be discounts, etc. for those who already own the first game.

I'm ready for more Robocop, DLC standalone I don't care. I just want more Robocop.

Would be awesome if the devs somehow managed to get the license to do a Judge Dredd game. They would do it justice

I enjoyed the base game, but part of why it was good was it's short-but-sweet length.

Not sure I want or need more content for this one, and the trailer looks pretty bland to me.

You know political correctness has gone too far when not even Robocop can survive without the intersectional minority being the hero and key to everything.

Standalone expansion like Uncharted Lost Legacy.
But in the case of uncharted every iteration had a different name.
Uncharted Drake's fortune, Among thieves, etc..

I always felt that Robocop was the IP name and Rogue city the name of the game, so going by that branding,t he stand alone uncharted game would be called something like Uncharted - a thief's end - Lost Legacy.
Don't know if i explain myself clearly :messenger_grinning_sweat:

I'm enjoying the base game on Ps5.
But if this is going to be very combat heavy I likely won't pick it up unless they've done some extensive optimization. The base game is at its worse during heavy combat encounters because it runs like shit.

This one's set completely inside a mega-building, the first one suffered in the 'open' zones, I don't think it's gonna have that problem this time.

I don't know how it plays on Xbox but I'm playing it on Ps5 right now and the performance drops considerably whenever you get into heavy combat. Regardless if you are in a more open area or a small indoors location.

I just played the section where they introduce the robotic enemies last night, which takes place inside a small warehouse, and it felt like it dropped under 30fps at times (playing in "performance" mode)

The Xbox version ran notably better, a difference of 10, 12 fps in the open zones... but it had its own issues like missing road textures in the open zone areas, not sure if they have fixed that since release now or what.

I'd say it's a dlc because it uses the same name.

Description

RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business is a new standalone adventure from RoboCop: Rogue City. The OmniTower is their fortress, violence is their language. Face elite mercenaries all the way to the top of the tower and enforce the law amidst the chaos!

That's cool, though I can't say I've been too bothered by the drops when walking around town though.

It's stuff like this that really bothers me

Which probably runs even worse on PS5.

The developers should at some point in the future try Dredd vs Robocop, we have had Terminator v Robocop, but never the former

Wait, hold up..

At 0:42 seconds into the video Robocop flinches when the bomb goes off like a regular human would

Robocop wouldn't do that :pie_thinking:

What's this about? What is this??

I have this on PS5 but havent played it properly yet.

Its £6 on Xbox for the deluxe version - does it run that much better on Xbox over PS5?

Oh right, so it's out on the 17th of July.

If i asked you the date today, would you tell me it's May before what date in May it is? like i wouldn't know it's may even though it's the 22nd day in May?

If I asked you to go get me some tea and krumpets, would you bring me the krumpets before the tea?

Of course not, I have instant boiling water, unfortunately there's no way to instantly toast some crumpets and preparing them in advance is wrong as they're best served warm so the butter melts into them.

Just as a quick sidenote, this did actually make me piss myself laughing out loud and I will now find myself singing this whilst I actually do cook crumpets, probably forever more!

Sorry to derail the thread

Have a great Thursday!
haha, thank you thank you. You as well! I felt like I was really going out on a limb on that joke haha.

I really enjoyed the game. Shooting was great. And the best missions were when you just went somewhere and started blasting. I didn't need to investigate, let me blast.
