Edge Magazine Review Scores: Issue #414 — Donkey Kong Bananza, Killing Floor 3, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, RoboCop: Rogue City & More

Ragebound isn't for everyone. The game requires a healthy level of testosterone for the intended experience.

These are just the beginnings of the accolades(I expect a goty nom at TGA unless Nintendo releases a better game before the cutoff). I struggle to understand myself how someone could get to the stage of having an account here and not already know this info, but I'm not upset, just curious. You seem concerned. You can play the game and find out for yourself. I promise you the reviewers aren't all lying to you, lol.
There has been a new vocal rise of graphics-first and aesthetics-first gamers lately. So a game could play like a 10/10 but look ugly, and they simply won't play it no matter how many people say that it's great.

It is a little perplexing, a little fascinating, and a little worrying.

I don't understand the review for Donkey Kong. The game looks artistically very boring. It's also supposed to be very easy.
This was also my train of thought before I gave it a go, and honestly, while visually it's still not my cup of tea, in every other sense (especially its gameplay) it's fascinating. There are some challenge rooms in particular which have been head scratchers and make you use the full extent of DK's mobility, there's nothing more I could ask for. A 9 seems like quite a fitting score for it; something like Mario Odyssey was an 8 for me.

I dont really care about reviews.

I knew DK Bananza was going to be great from its Direct and after playing and finishing the game in 50+ hours I wasn't disappointed.

Its my personal GOTY.

I love that I never cared for reviews. This is just more proof that "professional reviews" are still just some dorks opinion, lmao.

Wild seeing some of those 6s on the same level as other 6s, lol. I feel like they just felt like no longer thinking and wanted to throw them around.

Kf3 and Shire game same score?
What went wrong with kf3?
A lot apparently. The game was in such bad shape that they delayed it. Unfortunately it sounds like they still have a lot of work to do. A lot of the KF community just say it doesn't feel like a KF game at all. Doesn't highlight the things that they loved about the first two games whatsoever.
