Had my first Rockband party since RB4's release. With no ION support and the exports not available yet we still ended up playing RB3. Figure it out Harmonix.

Same here. It's a serious problem. Nobody wants to play RB4 when they come over. At this point I'm mad at myself for wasting money on it.

I used to miss the click, but now I hate it. Especially when people start slamming the crap out of the strum bar.

Ion support is out of their control. And exports are coming in December, so they've figured it out. You can even have RB3 exported.

They have said multiple times it's not up to them 100% for ION support. They have to get MS to buy on letting wired USB instrument work on the XBone (which they won't) and they have to get ION to release drivers/updates/enable compatibility for them to work (have said they are aware of this but won't bother as it's not worth it to them as a company).

same, i'm not playing it nearly as much as I expected, was really hoping the imports would be here, already sold the older games. bleh. I like the game but, wish I felt more compelled to play. Still glad i have it around though.

Just bought GH:Live this weekend and the clicky strum bar is driving me nuts! I had my silver headset on last night and could still hear the clicking throughout every song. Only made the switch to RB instruments a few months ago but I'm now officially on team mushy for life

While we're on songs penned by The Boss, I was just walking to the train station listening to Thunder Road thinking how much it would sting if we got Springsteen DLC now that we don't have keys anymore. Thunder Road would have been epic

Too obvious, RB DLC hints are generally more vague and far-fetched than that. For instance, last week one of the mods posted a picture of the Star Trek episode where Bashir is copied as a hologram to hint towards 'Doctor, Doctor' and that was considered an uncharacteristically easy hint.

I'll ask here because i'm confused by some things.

So exports are coming in december , ok ..

When can we expect online multiplayer to come ? Is it on the list of things to do ?

I just want to play online with friends ( like in rb3 )

I don't think that online multiplayer is currently a priority for Harmonix. But according to IBitePrettyHard on Reddit they have been flying in players to beta test a new game mode for the December update, so who knows?

Haven't they already confirmed there won't be synchronous multiplayer in the Dec update? I'll be super happy and completely forget the disastrous EU launch if they just came out and surprised us with it, but obviously it's not going to happen. I am even speculating we'll see online in 2016... I'll be really disappointed if we don't though.

Funny how Linkin Park had a single RB2 disc song for so long, and then just started getting DLC randomly years later.

Audioslave has always been a weird to me. I feel like I should like the band since I like RAtM and Euphoria Morning and I love Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog, yet I think it's an awful band.

I am personally Very excited to play Like a Stone. That's a song I've loved since it's release.
And I'm more partial to Rage Against the Machine than Soundgarden, for reference.

Yesssss, Like a Stone. Love that song. I'm looking forward to playing it in March when it finally comes to the EU PSN store. Incidentally, there aren't any more updated legacy songs today, so don't expect this week's DLC to come out on time.

Aw yeah, managed to get a PS3 GH dongle for only $31 on eBay. Must less than I've been seeing on Amazon.

I plan to get RB4 during the Target B2G1 this week. Hell yeah.

Goddamn, I didn't realize how much I wanted this.

I was just thinking the other day how much I'd like "Cochise" by Audioslave in RB (probably because of Josh in Until Dawn). This might work, though. I'll check out the guitar chart in the morning. May just buy anyway.

I just found out the other day why Rock Band hasn't gotten Skid Row yet. Most of the master tapes were lost when Hurricane Irene flooded Sebastian Bach's house. He managed to find some tapes from an old Skid Row live performance video last, but I'm not sure if Harmonix can work with that.

I'm in for all three.
I love Audioslave, that one Godsmack song is well liked in these parts, and my wife loves doing LP vocals.

Fantastic week!

Like A Stone is a great song that I've wanted in Rock Band for like 5ever

Godsmack would make the week much worse, but at least Linkin Park counter balances the amount that I dislike Godsmack :)

I love RATM and Temple Of The Dog and like Soundgarden, yet Audioslave never did anything for me. So you're not alone.

Oh that sucks big time, didn't even know. Well in that case I'll just complain about Guns and Roses not being able to come to terms with Appetite for Destruction in Rock Band instead.
