Do you plan on just recorded a Skype call or something? From my time listening to Player One back in the day it seems like the way to get the best quality is to have everybody record their own voice on their PC, send the MP3 to you, than you put those MP3s together, though that's probably a lot more work.

Yes, Skype call with everyone recording their mic input via Audacity with an MP3 plugin which I'll take and stitch together. I'll ask for some advice about streamlining editing from a couple of guys I know who do this weekly.

Also is weekly too much? Bi-weekly? Monthly?

There's enough obvious content for a weekly podcast, guess it depends on what you want the running time to be.

Although an hour may seem like a long time, it's necessary if we want to have more than one question/debate. Just arguing over if a song sucks or not could take 5-10 minutes. :lol

I am amazed by these Christian metalcore bands that have the deepest fucking guttural growls that put some other metal acts to shame. Those are the best.
 
I've been going through on bass lately since I've got most of guitar cleared out. Black Friday's got a pretty awesome bass chart. Played that one yesterday.

Yeah, unless you're multi-disciplined. Should probably do an all drummers/all vox/all guitar/bass cast too :p
 
all-vox and all-bass cast wouldn't work.. We just don't have enough people.

I'm sure Archie won't pitch in, so that leaves just me and Bebe on vocals (for the most part). I'm sure an all-drummer or all-guitarist cast would be fun though.

Most drummers(ps3 side at least) can do both....were all pretty decent on expert guitar/bass.

Also, multi-instrument really is the way to go! I wish I was more proficient at drums, but I just haven't put the work into it. vocals/guitar/bass, I'm all pretty good at though.

Compared to the 360 side, we got nothing. But on the ps3 side, Birdman is the best for vox.

There really isn't much to talk about for vocals. You get what you hear. Not to mention we don't have any RBN on PS3 songs yet so all we get is the standard weekly stuff, and I'm more picky with my choices now.

But like ravien said, the PS3 needs a vox diplomat, and I'm the best one we've got.

I read that thread in OT about the guy getting banned for life for buying iPads for GAFfers. How can you support such a terrible company?

Well it's not like they knew he was doing that...and the markup was kinda high. $499 ipad...he was selling for $650.

I'm just using my iPhone as a wifi hotspot. Free wifi and cheaper model and don't have to pay another monthly fee.
 
Weren't the people he was selling them to from different countries? Something like that is going to incur some serious shipping charges and taxes, so that doesn't seem all that outrageous.

If it's being shipped to the UK or something I understand but shipping it to Canada, it cost too much.
