I kept striking out with finding work so I've started learning ASP.NET(C#.NET version) in my free time so employers think I'm actually useful for something.

Scott Pilgrim is so bad I can't believe some of you people here like it. I read the first book to see what the fuss was and it was so stupid. Seriously, you have to be a 14 year old girl to like that shit. If you are a grown man over 20 and like it you have issues. That is all. Next time somebody recommends something please let it be good. Don't waste my bandwith.

New alt-pop band PETREE, headed by Stephen Petree, co-founder of Shiny Toy Guns, will release its debut album, WEAKNESS MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL, on Dream Records/Universal Music Group on May 18. The L.A.-based group also featuring band mates Aaron Joseph on guitar, David Eropkin on bass, and Adam Welch on drums; is joined on PETREE’s premiere CD by Shiny Toy Guns’ Chad Petree and Sisely Treasure; and Ronkat Spearman, a veteran of George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars. The first single, “It’s Always Been You,” just hit Triple A and Hot AC radio, already garnering early adds; and MTV’s “The Hills” has already featured a pre-release cut, “She Set It,” from the CD.

As a founding member of Shiny Toy Guns, Stephen Petree co-wrote three singles released by the band in 2007 (We Are Pilots, Universal Records) “Le Disko,” “You Are The One” and “Rainy Monday.” His co-writes helped the band attain three top hits on modern rock charts, one #1 video on Fuse, and a #1 iTunes song in the U.K. Stephen’s songwriting efforts for Shiny Toy Guns’ We are Pilots album garnered the band a 2007 Grammy Album Of The Year nomination. Stephen also has three co-writes on the sophomore release of Shiny Toy Guns’ Season Of Poison album.

Stephen’s songs have been featured on television shows such as "Dancing With The Stars," "America's Next Top Model,” "So You Think You Can Dance,” “One Tree Hill,” “The Real World” and just recently “Rock Band 3” and “Iron Man 2.” Honda and Motorola have showcased Stephen’s co-writes in cutting-edge worldwide television commercials as well.

Honestly, I'm listening to the songs and if one of them is a bonus song (or one of the free 20 songs that HMX will inevitably release again) I can't say I'd be angry. They're catchy enough.

Anyone picking up Lost Planet 2? Can't believe how excited I am for an Archie tier shooter from Japan. I adored the first one, the community was fucking awesome because it was mainly Japanese dudes who mollycoddled the stupid gaijin to victory every time :lol

The hell...?

I rented LP1 and couldn't get past that stupid giant snow worm. It was impossible. So I can't say I'm a fan.

I am, however, insanely excited for the Halo Reach beta.

Protip: you don't have to kill the worm, you can just run to your objective.

Also; I was talking about the multiplayer. The single player was fucking gibberish of the highest order, like they de-frosted the Resident Evil 1 writer and poured his inane ramblings on to a page and made a game from it before re-freezing him once again.
 
My problem with lost planet, and dead rising, is that they were both clunky as fuck. They could have been so much more, I really hope the new ones deliver for me because I wanted to like them more. I'm not saying I don't like them though, and the MP in lost planet never really clicked for me.

May is going to be insane, I have skate 3, red dead, and split second preordered. I'm renting alan wake and POP. I might buy UFC depending on the demo, and then tiger comes out a couple weeks later. All this off the heels of SSF4, god damn I'm glad I'm a student :lol
