I was so bad at it too:lol

I remember not comprehending GH1 on Easy. It was totally different for me. I remember trying my damndest to beat Bark at the moon on Medium. When i finally did I was so happy.

That's when playing on Expert used to be awesome and like no one did it
 
I should have been on Sony's payroll during the beginning days of GH1. I lugged that shit around everywhere I went. I got so many semi-non-gamers to run out and buy the system it wasn't funny.

I held off on GH2 for a couple weeks because I knew I was going to end up with the 360 version. I got bored one weekend and pre-double dipped on PS2 though.

Edit: What's fucking ridiculous is we're all trying to act OG up in this bitch. The goddamn series has only been out FOUR YEARS. It seems like a lifetime.

off the top of my head: Carry Me Home, Jessica and Gemini all annihilate it. I could think of like 30 more GH2 songs better than Dead. Speaking of which, Thunderhorse should have been the Dethklok song in GH6. smh Dave

This may be a silly question, but is GH6 going to be a band game or guitar game? Reading the OXM article, they talk about going back to "playing guitar and getting back to GH3's roots". I know it will feature the other instruments, but it sounds like guitar is their main focus and possibly drums and vocals may take a backseat.

It would make sense considering the name Guitar Hero (TBH, I never understood the change to Band Hero as a spin-off; or at least the use of that name, in that that it made it sound like one was a guitar game and the other a band game).

Ah I haven't seen screenshots. I googled the GH thread because you said you were going to bump it over the weekend but I didn't see anything.

Just saw 'em. Looks pretty crazy, I am excited.

I bought all the GH:WT instruments in pieces, so I can't decide if I'll go for the full bundle right away or not. I'm one of two people in the world who preferred GH drums over the RB set.

It's making me look forward to how Harmonix is going to (hopefully) change their instruments this year.

I agree I'm not particularly fond of his games, I want versus just to see them expand more on the world though. And I agree I can think of at least 10 other games a ps3 would be worth owning along side a 360 for, and besides we've always got Home :lol (sorry mcbradders)

I really hope Harmonix aren't dickheads and try to support the GH drums better. Even letting me just have the orange pad double as another colour would be a start.

Yeah harmonixs solution for the GH drums was lazy, :lol @ playing the tom on a cymbal. You'd probably play more drums if they weren't so gimped, because that's just unenjoyable. Think well hear anything from that press party on the 20th a couple songs maybe?

Not a movie buff so i could care less about Blue Ray. (Plus i can get a stand alone). Other than FF13 versus the only game i wanted was MGS4. Thats it. (thats not to say theres not other good games, just not games i wanted)

I thought that Versus XIII took place in a completely different universe than FFXIII? That seemed to be the impression that I was getting from the CG trailers they've been putting out since it was announced.

Same Universe. At least thats what i thought all the games of the Crystalis 13 or whatever its called where supposed to be.
 
I hope versus is at least a timed exclusive so I can play it sooner, no offesne to the 360 only crowd, I would feel pretty shafted after getting 13 and not getting versus, honestly I knew it would happen.

Agree @ the psp2, I'm hoping they produce something nice so satisfy my gadget lust though. Ill definitely buy one because the psp has a good mindshare among the public somehow, which means good games will be there. As long as it has buttons and 2 analog sticks ill be happy.
