Expert just sucked because you couldn't actually fail the songs. And the end songs on expert, the scratching, was just retarded.Baker said:Yeah that was one game I never cared about learning past Hard.

SuperPac said:I did. It has two token codes on the back page of the manual. One's the song export, the other one is for the bonus songs. So one code for all the bonus songs.

This crappy new music game called "Power Gig" has Layla. Better be in RB3.

I don't know, I thought Hard was enjoyable enough. It still had the direction-based scratching and crazy enough crossfades later on in the setlist.Nisa65 said:It wasn't that fun on anything other than expert, just like any other non-karaoke music game really.
Speaking of Old School, I wouldn't be surprised if Dust in the Wind ended up in RB3.

I still don't get the point of the real guitar gimmick when the engine only cares about the standard 5 colored buttons.DuckRacer said:

Not sure. They have another song called Detroit City on RBN. Maybe that's it?Space Cadet said:What's the name of their one hit?

And the dlc was overpriced.Nisa65 said:Only ever had any real trouble with Groundhog tbh. The whole no fail mode never really bothered me, the challenge was in getting 5 stars for each track. The thing that killed my interest was a lack of tracks and poor dlc support.
My sister got them for a birthday or christmas. I don't think she ever touched them.Ashour said:I had one of these. What a piece of shit :lol

http://southernfriedgamer.com/ps3/p...-the-gate-swinging-with-giant-names-in-music/Boston June 8, 2010 Music industry superstars Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews Band and Kid Rock have each entered into exclusive agreements with Seven45 Studios to provide songs for Power Gig: Rise of the SixString, the first band videogame for which the guitar peripheral is a functioning six-string electric guitar. I bet that's how they get around giving Plus owners two export codes.Tek said:FYI to those of you that preordered from Gamestop for the free export code.
I just got back from picking up my copy and asked the clerk about the export code for preordering. He said it should be in the game, I gave him a look like O RLY?
He then checked the computer and printed out the code on a receipt. Now the game does include a export code but its the one you have to pay 9.99 for. The free export code from Gamestop apparently has to be printed on a receipt.
Just don't want people to get screwed over due to a clerk not paying attention.

The Power Gig devs must have amazing representation to bag someone like him.
