I did. It has two token codes on the back page of the manual. One's the song export, the other one is for the bonus songs. So one code for all the bonus songs.

Lame, I was going to give the first pack to my friend since I already had it. Oh well she will have to buy it.

EDIT: Holy shit at Boys Like Girls - The Great Escape. That is the "chordiest" song since margaritaville. Dave you should love it.

It wasn't that fun on anything other than expert, just like any other non-karaoke music game really.

Speaking of Old School, I wouldn't be surprised if Dust in the Wind ended up in RB3.
I don't know, I thought Hard was enjoyable enough. It still had the direction-based scratching and crazy enough crossfades later on in the setlist.

Maybe if I had played it more than two days I would have got the urge to bump up the difficulty. I do think I'm going to start playing it again...

Guys. The song's got backup vocals and significant piano. Of course it'll be in RB3. Just like of course Bohemian Rhapsody will be.

Yep.

Harmonix has literally no excuse now.
I still don't get the point of the real guitar gimmick when the engine only cares about the standard 5 colored buttons.

Are you just supposed to make up your own random way of playing it? "Ohhh I'm going to hit that red note on the B string!"

Tap Dancing In A Minefield by The New Regime is amazing on drums. Every drummer should pick it up. One of my favorites in the game. Sounds pretty awesome on guitar too. The live video I linked to isn't the one used in the game, but it's not too different from the studio version.

I hate my Strat 1. I started playing some GH3 on PS2 with my GH2 guitar again, and I played much better then with the Strat. Even tried out some custom charts, played Prequel to The Sequel, Ants Of The Sky, Viridian and White Walls (charts by HellAshes) and got like 97% or better on Expert sight read on every one of them. I even SR FCed that amazing White Walls solo at the end (and then my PS2 froze). Both the strumbar and the buttons make playing much easier. I don't think I can go back to the Strat 1 now. :(

I should probably get the GH6 bundle when it comes out, and since I need a new guitar anyway I'm thinking about getting it for PS3 and switching to PS3 with RB too. Would anyone with good (hard) guitar DLC be willing to share RB/GH DLC with me if I decided to do that?

Expert just sucked because you couldn't actually fail the songs. And the end songs on expert, the scratching, was just retarded.

Only ever had any real trouble with Groundhog tbh. The whole no fail mode never really bothered me, the challenge was in getting 5 stars for each track. The thing that killed my interest was a lack of tracks and poor dlc support.

And the dlc was overpriced.

I had one of these. What a piece of shit :lol
My sister got them for a birthday or christmas. I don't think she ever touched them.

I messed around with them a couple times, and yeah, they were stupid and annoying. So futuristic though!!!

While we are on the subject, is there anywhere one can buy the MP3's of the remixes on DJ Hero? I want the Another One Bites the Dust/Da Funk mashup.

No :(

I have recordings of all the tracks if you want a copy though. They sound pretty good.

I have every mix of the game in mp3, so if you want one I can PM it to you....after several minutes of uploading because of my shitty connection

Are they off-screen recordings or direct feed audio?

Also, the Marvin Gaye/Gorillaz mix

Wait, what the fuck

FYI to those of you that preordered from Gamestop for the free export code.

I just got back from picking up my copy and asked the clerk about the export code for preordering. He said it should be in the game, I gave him a look like O RLY?

He then checked the computer and printed out the code on a receipt. Now the game does include a export code but its the one you have to pay 9.99 for. The free export code from Gamestop apparently has to be printed on a receipt.

Just don't want people to get screwed over due to a clerk not paying attention.
I bet that's how they get around giving Plus owners two export codes.

To all of the drum elitists in here: I challenge you to play Emenius Sleepus in Green Day: Rock Band.

I haven't played drums in Rock Band for a while so I'm kind of scared to jump right into Green Day Rock Band on them. I'll start off with guitar and vocals while reacclimating myself with the drums in RB2. :lol
