I love MGS but I wasn't that impressed by the trailer, looks too much like a Dynasty Warriors style hack n slash game. Need to see a longer trailer at Konami's conference. Hopefully they announce Move support as it looks like a game that would benefit form it.

Looks like Just Dance HD except better than Just Dance because it's actually detecting your moves and not just giving you points for any waggle.
Until there's a dance that wants jazz hands, the system can't detect jazz hands, so you just waggle your hands for points.

Dance Central looked fucking terrible. What are you guys on.
This. Kinect looks fucking terrible.
I kept refreshing the rss feed when it was over, I kept thinking MS was gonna announce some crazy shit. Nothing, terrible conference. Don't fuck up Sony.

Despised Icon - "Day of Mourning"
Flight of the Conchords - "Demon Woman"
Jonathan Coulton - "Ikea"
Steve Vai - "The Attitude Song"
Third Eye Blind - "Never Let You Go '09"

Nope.

I'd buy Never Let You Go but I bet the mixing is shit like the other 3EB song on RBN, I felt so ripped off when I played it.

I didn't notice any shitty mixing - but I was drunk and playing it with buds.

You do know that EA has no control on when and how RB info gets out, right? Their role is similar to their role with Valve; they just distribute.

It's all on MTV Games.
I know but MTV don't have a conference so I thought they would show it at EA's like the other partners. :(

RB and GH fad is over. They're not good enough to get in the spotlight anymore. They're Castlevania tier.

I hope you're not basing this solely because of their E3 presser layout; no one sane worked on that.

It looks like we'll probably hear a rehash of currently known details and a video of a GameSpot employee failing out Dead End Friends on medium guitar, since Gamespot is going to have a demo at 5 PM PST.
Fixed

Though apparently Gamespot has an "MTV Games In-depth: RB3" show Thursday morning, if we're lucky we'll get confirmation of a few more songs and maybe the GnR Megapack announcement!

...we're never getting a GnR megapack

I'm basing it mainly on the fact the games don't really sell that much better than anything else anymore.

It's weird Guns N Roses were at the pre E3 thing but not E3 proper. I guess Harmonix just wanted to buy off the press early!

Of course, Activision would never do such a thing *gets taxi to $6million blow party*

There were only two games I wanted to know more about at this E3: Need for SpeeDd Hot Pursuit and Rock Band 3. The RB3 stuff looks cool, and the NFS trailer is awesome - looks like Burnout with real cars.

It would appear, my good sir, that you did not care for Burnout Paradise? Fie on you, I say!
I didn't like it. It just got boring to me plus I don't like using fake cars and games based on crashing.

Is it just me, or is a bunch of DLC missing from the Rock Band Music Store. Like almost all of The Who, Judas Priest, and a bunch of other stuff? I bought a card today and was going to download some songs, and it seems like a lot are missing, although those are the only ones that I can think of off-hand. Are they doing some maintenance? I looked at Rock Band's forum, and everyone was just talking about RB3, but surely it can't just be me? That would be weird.
