I think the pricing is a bit high, it should've been 20, but it looks like they've done a solid job with the ports.

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
These games just never clicked for me. And I’m not about to give Konami $30 to use an emulator.

No Xbox version? Not even on the "best deal in gaming"? Strange...

Anyway, I'll be buying this on Switch straight after work.

Played the first one on my Steamdeck earlier this year, but didn't quite feel it.
Even when using the 8bit Do Genesis controller.
Then again, I don't have any nostalgia for the series. Will give it another go at some point!

I've said it before, but RKA was the first game that made me acknowledge a third party developer and associate it with high quality games. Such a classic. Excellent soundtrack. That boss theme.

But £25 is too much for what it is, so wishlist and deep sale it is.

The boss theme scared the shit out of me as a kid and it still does.

This was my first game for my Genesis. Loved it. Never beat it due to the difficulty for 6 year old me.

have fond memories of this game. Will be getting this. i would play this for hours with my cousin.

While this game is good, the price seems bit higher. Nyway, whats wrong with the artwork? It looks bland and those whiskers bugs me

I played the shit out of the first Rocket knight, waaaay back when I was doing work experience at a pc specialist called Calculus.
They had a Megadrive hooked up in the corner of the shop and they were cool about me trying out most of the software for it.
Sparkster was the reason I decided to never lend my games to anyone again.
When I went to pick up my Snes copy off some kid I knew, he handed it back to me and the box was squashed to fuck at one end.
No apology, no explanation.
Fast forward to 1997 and my 8 year old cousin wants to borrow Sotn.
Fuck. Off. Lol
But I digress. I'll buy the shit out of this.

First level of Rocket Knight adventures on megadrive, from the attacked village, to the waterfall mini boss, the flying section, the castle climb, to the real first boss in the tower, is the best introduction segment i ever seen in a game. You cannot put the controller down.

Absolutely adore the original Genesis game. I just see how this company creates obvious FOMO and takes advantage of people while taking forever to deliver the goods. Stuff looks cool, but I just avoid it.

That 30$ price is insane and the result is already showing, as no one is buying this compilation.

$10 a piece for hard to find classics isn't too much to ask IMO. If you look on eBay, especially for the 2 Sparkster cartridges they are outrageous. I prefer to do things the legit and cheap way, so number one, pirating isn't an option for me, and number two, shelling out hundreds of dollars for original cartridges is out of the question for me as well. If anyone is interested You can get the collection for $25.49 on GMG:

just use your voucher code june15 to get the discount.

I got my Steam key this way. For those whining about the price just wait for the inevitable Steam sale.

For me, it's just disappointing because they won't get those important initial sales due to overly aggressive pricing. And because this is Konami, I'd like to see them turn things around and succeed again as a videogames publisher/developer.

60 Australian dollarydoos for 3 barebones emulated ROM's you can get for free, running without basic features like shaders and gamma correction (disgusting) and in the wrong aspect ratio (1:1 PAR).

Unreal lmfao.
