Unfortunately, for licensing reasons, you can't customize the car and its related items are exclusive to it (boost, wheels, etc.). You can adjust the blue/orange accent color used by the Delorean but that's it.

Disappointing but understandable.

That is amazing. The effects and wheel flame trails when you boost, wheels retract when you boost fly.... This is perfect. Also this is how you do good DLC. It's still overpriced for what it is, but this is instant purchase material for me, it's just so cool and the price doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth. Other devs would maybe add in a couple more cars but charge you £10 for the privilege.

I find it hard to believe that online multiplayer can beat the glorious shitstorm of cursing and laughing that is splitscreen multiplayer. Difficult to do often though

Local multiplayer is great, but I find that the occasions where I'm able to play games split screen are few and far between these days.

I asked them how they all had it already but didn't get a response. All on PC if that matters. Any ideas?

That's what I though at first but TBH they were not that great at the game. I would have thought devs would be a) higher level then a pro and semi-pro and b) a lot better at the game then I was (FYI I'm not very good).

It was strange as they weren't even on the same team and I was just playing random (none ranked) matches and I saw the car in 3 games on the bounce.

Should have really taken a screen shot TBH.

It was quite possibly the greatest thing I've seen after the birth of my Daughter. I openly wept.

Seriously though it was pretty great. The wheels folding up during boost flight looked awesome. Plus the boost noise and tyre trails were very authentic.
