Romney considers 2016 bid. Legit Shook.

I want to know what his wife thinks tbh. It really seemed like she didn't want him to run last time, and was crushed by the loss. Given the strain it put on his family I'm surprised he's gearing up again. Especially with 2016 already having multiple establishment candidates (Bush, Christie, Walker).

I'm not "jaw on the floor" surprised. But I really didn't see this coming. Two primary seasons is enough to make most sit out.

Gonna be a cold winter, better warm your Mittens up.

He got destroyed by Obama the Islamic Shocker in an environment that was tailor-made for him to win. Unless an implosion of the economy happens in the next 2 years ala Dubya, he has no chance.

If they want to lose, sure. In politics, if you make it to the presidential bid and FAIL...you are proven as unable to win. You are damaged goods. If they really think putting Mitt up against Clinton is going to win them the White House, then this party has given up.

The funny part is, Romney is leading the polls right now for 2016 Republicans.

I think that's more of because he just ran and people know his name though.

I can picture it now. Romney rolls back up to the ring, looking for revenge. Obama turns, chuckles, and passes the chaos emeralds to Hilary "The Bengzainator" Clinton as she tags in.

Well, they don't really have any nominees. They are all pretty much the same as the last round, and the few newcomers aren't that liked. Honestly, with all the time they had between election, they haven't done jack shit to find anyone new (an up and comer) to try to fill the void.

Makes sense. All the skeletons are already out of the closet, and he has been proven right on some things like Russia. The class-based arguments are probably weakened with the improving economy and with Clinton being the likely opponent.

True.
When Obama gave his speech at the DNC in 2004, everyone knew, "This is the guy."

Is Chris Christie still a potential candidate?

The idea of Jeb, Christie, and Romney all slapfighting for the chance to get ruined by Clinton is fun to consider.

well, if he does win the primaries again at least it won't be bush vs. clinton.

I still can't believe this is a thing. Bush has one of the worst legacies of all time. With Romney, while he's damaged goods and not likable, he doesn't have that hate factor. People will come out and be motivated to vote, because it's a Bush. They will come out to vote to make sure another Bush doesn't get elected.

Clinton is also hated, so she has that factor of motivating people to vote against her. But she also has a lot of people that love her, and also she would be the first woman president. So IMO she has a lot more positives then negatives tied to her name.

But Bush, is all negative. It would blow my mind, if the party goes with him.
