Some of the combat stuff sounds good, but I'll believe all the combo-ing complexity when I actually see it. Every game from Naughty Dog from Uncharted 1 to now, has simple basic bitch gameplay.
You can like the basic bitch gameplay, but it not advanced or deep, it is just polished for what it is. When I play the Last of Us, the melee feels good because the animation is nice, but it's braindead simple just like the crafting is. When I play Nathan Drake, I know the platforming is contextual and almost plays itself, to the point where I fucked up jumping a gap too early during a chase because my phone rang in 3...and it re-oriented the character to make him grab the ledge so I could continue instead of fall like I spatially should've.
