I wonder if this is what bothers me. This was my initial impressions:



How can the level design in the opening bits of op video be so colorful and item filled, and yet feel so empty and soulless?
White walls, with somewhat wide areas and then corridors, green/red color flashs, it's setting off backrooms type vibes. The items in the room don't feel like they belong to the room, just debris?

I guess a company of 800+ employees on (and I'm guessing here) an average wage of 100k a year, that's a lot of expenses. Plus their CEOs are probably on multi-million salaries too.

250m usd of production budget, now lets add marketing budget on top, which defo isnt small and likely doubles it, so 500m total- that thing gotta sell gangbusters and retain players like amish wifes retain husbands to be somewhat profitable
