According to recent leaks, Gummy Bears is a MOBA (DOTA 2, League of Legends) that features Attack, Defense, and Support classes, and potentially movable towers. It's said to be aimed at a younger audience of gamers, and will feature a percentage-style damage system where you'll be knocked back further depending on how high your percentage at the time is. This is, of course, similar to how Super Smash Bros. operates.

Coming to PS5 PC & Nintendo Switch

Sony don't learn their lesson , another concorde incoming

Too busy posting good gummi bears to actually pay attention to the OP....

This is another Sony produced Switch game? They'll be in double digits soon.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
It does not surprise me Bungie would target children with their predatory business practices.

MOBA for kids? With movable towers and Smash Bros elements? And this is the company that got Factions II shut down? No way Sony is this out of touch.

I hope this is a real MOBA.

I could be wrong, but the idea of a MOBA (with roles and towers) + Smash like damage just doesn't sound like fun or appealing.

Also, this art is giving me AI vibes, lol. I feel like every game that has art that gives me those vibes fails.

Bungie hasn’t been a SP studio for over a decade, them making MP games is what they do

Not talking about Bungie, but PS Studios in general.

If they focused their MP studios on live service, while letting SP studios do their thing, it would be better. However, they put everyone to make live service games including Naugthy Dog even Bluepoint!

Not sure why people are down on this before even seeing it.

It’s also going to be on the affordable side for an AAA title, or probably big budget AA, so it won’t be as massive a risk for Sony as Concord.

This is pretty much how Live Service should be done.

They are beyond help at this point.

Just throwing GAAS shit at a wall and hoping something sticks is not a strategy.

It’s a smaller sub team at Bungie so this actually does seem like the right approach. Main team
Works on Marathon, a decent chunk of staff makes updates and expansions for DLC and then you let like 50 guys make this stuff on the side.

Far cry from Concord with hundreds of folks working on it on a mega AAA budget.

It’s also probably been incubating at Bungie since before the acquisition.
