R.I.P. Russ. You're responsible for my favorite film of all time (that is not scarcasm).
I'm watching this again ASAP in your honor. I urge you all to run out and do the same.
In 1970, an all girl band moves from back east to Los Angeles and become superstars overnight. There are awesome performance segments, lesbian sex, a beheading, pre-Roe v. Wade abortion, drugged out cosplay, a screenply by the one and only Roger Ebert that remains one of the most quotable of all time("This is my happening and it freaks me out!") and of course boobies boobie boobies. There's no R1 DVD yet, but it's out in Europe and Australia and on good ol' VHS here in the states.
