Man I wanted that series to have as second season, and minus the supernatural stuff, this sorta sounds like it.

Just sounds like they're saying, "We will not be legally obligated to stop you from murdering each other, so if it starts to happen don't expect a producer to save you when they could film it and profit instead." (Assuming it's even real, etc.)

But anyway, Series 7 was my first thought.
