Nice. So do you have any tips on batting? Are you good at getting homers or is the key to almost never miss? I feel that it's seems random if I get a homer or not. I mean, I can understand hitting it early or late but is there anything the controls the elevation?
Hmm, it's kinda tough to put into words. Honestly, it's a mix of both getting homers and hardly missing. There's a definite sweet spot and timing for solid home runs. The "sweet spot" of the bat is the area located around the midpoint of the barrel. That's where you want to make contact with the ball. I'd recommend practicing finding that sweet spot on early batting challenges just to get used to the feel of hitting home runs. There's a certain rhythm to it, but beware falling into a lull because the challenges like to gradually speed up over time and you have to react ever so slightly as well (especially as you reach more difficult challenges).
So, yeah, for the batting challenges I'd recommend trying to get a +3 on all the early pitches. It's one part rhythm game, one part reaction game. For the Derbys, it's all about stringing together a bunch of (semi-)successful hits. But that's the ultimate challenge in terms of speed batting, so I wouldn't worry about it until I felt comfortable hitting in the other modes.
The greatest feeling is hearing the crraaackkkk of the bat on consecutive pitches. It's really satisfying! Good luck!
