Let's be real. Those people playing and reviewing the game so soon are probably long time Stalker fans that don't mind the jank and bugs as much as the average player.
I'd expect those ratings to go down during the week if the game is really that buggy. That said I'm glad it's doing so well, 70k players is a very nice number specially considering the game's on GP too.

Must be from long time fans who just want to support the devs after what Ukraine is going through. From all accounts the game is in bad shape, but i hope this gets fixed before the Ps5 release.

People buying Stalker 2 on Day 1 were always going to be the ones that were going to like it, bugs and all. It really is a series unlike any other, both in its fanbase, and their tolerance for bugs/jank.

Xbox is now a multiplatform publisher. This is not an xbox game. It's a game they paid for exclusivity for.
They paid money to stop this from going to other platforms. It's not 1st party title.
And why would they do that? They would probably double their sales if they released on ps5. or little below that.
Nobody and I repeat nobody will get xsx for that. It's not a game that sells consoles. not this far in when xbox is dead.
It will sell some gamepass on pc... but it would sell as much GP on pc if it was also on ps5.
This is a baaaad decision. makes no sense.

But that said, they would've recouped a ton more money if it was also on ps5.
3rd party Stalker is not a game you rebuild xbox with

Reviews are also subjective. They always have been and will be. Some people may experience small bugs and immediately think the game is shit. While others think it's amazing and are only affected by huge A bugs.
I think it's okay for people to review a product after playing for an hour. But I think it's important to mention that it's a review in progress or something. Because a 40+ hour game cannot get properly reviewed in an hour or less IMO. That's still a honeymoon phase.

This is not the type of game you would immediately think of when thinking about PS5 games. It's a first person, non-linear, no heavy focus on story or characters, and definitely not cinematic. The Xbox platform seems to have more FPS games in general, so maybe it's a better fit?
You are however correct this is first and foremast a PC game.

you don't really. also the deck has gyro, touch pads and easily adjustable mouse emulation on the sticks. so lots of tools to dial things in

But it's not the same. PS takes games away from barely anyone. People who ONLY have xbox and nothing else... it's a small group that don't buy AAA games anyway
