Remember how many people thought that his face was real time graphics and not a video?WATCH THIS PEOPLE! Think about the depths that Kojima was willing to go to when he rolls out a new game. THIS IS INSANE!!!!!! He hired a white European guy with bandages all on his face to do an interview with Geoff Keighley man!!!!! Like, COME ON!! With Kojima ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"During a Q&A session on his trip to Dubai, Hideo Kojima laughed when questioned about The Phantom Pain, and said that while he saw its resemblance to Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, it was being developed by Moby Dick Studio and that he was not involved."

This is so clearly a Kojima troll account. I am not buying that this has nothing to do with Kojima.
It looks so stupid it has to be Kojima.
THEORY FROM REDDIT
BlueBox Games is located in the Netherlands. You're probably saying to yourself, "okkayy? How is this relevant?" We'll, if you look on the back of Sam's gear in Death Stranding he happens to have a sticker of the Netherland's flag. Moreover, some of the merch that Kojima & co. wear include the Netherland's flag as well.
Next, let's take a look at BlueBox's YouTube Channel. Take a look at the header. Does that not look like a vista from Death Stranding? Take a look at their logo on display as well, does that not look like a carbon copy of the PS Studios logo?
Furthermore, if you take a look the game studios in the Netherlands- BlueBox is suspiciously absent from that list. Guerilla Games, however, is on that list.
Let me get this straight - BlueBox opened up in 2014, have only one game to show for and you're expecting me to believe Sony is laying out the red carpet just cause? Not even a fully developed game either, one that's in early access. Also, their own game isn't being developed by them anymore(!)- it's been handed off to another developer.
Weird.
Lastly, I want everyone to know that Kojima has pulled off something similar to this in the past. Take a look at this tweet from 2012. I know a lot of you will point directly to BlueBox's outright denial - but again, Kojima has done this in the past.
That’s a bold bet. This 100% is Silent Hill and Kojima.
The weird ass trailer liking to Metal Gear in a more than obvious way at the Keighley presentation to me seals the deal.
It's too many years since the Konami break up, clearly Sony has either gotten the IP rights and gave Kojima back his toys or Konami will just get a cut of the sales.
I'll eat my own feces if this isn't all a Kojima troll
Kickstarter project started in March 2015Just wanted to point to another coincidence:
P.T. was released 12th of August 2014.
Blue Box was founded 12th of August 2015.
Got you one better:BLUE BOXes!!!! It must be true, all of it!!!!
Where do you come up with comments like this?doubt is kojima, at least for the mgs remake. he is bored of metal gear.
also doubt its silent hills since konami won't release the IP to him. kojima i believe is working on a horror game and it's better if it has nothing to do with silent hill
even then, i do not see a future where mgs1 needs a remake. the gameplay mechanics are too dated for a full priced remix
It's worth noting that their YT channel says they joined January 2015. Twitter as well. So Crunchbase is wrong. Maybe that's the date the business filing was completed, but they existed in social media before that.Just wanted to point to another coincidence:

Asked when we can expect his next project to be announced, Yamaoka responded, “When, I wonder… I think I might be able to talk about it around the summer or so… (Summer this year?) That’s right… But I’m quite sure it will be the one you’ve been waiting for, Mutlaq [the interviewer].”
It's got Kojima modus operandi written all over it. And Sony signing it off makes it too obvious. That’s a bold bet.
More then that, Sony is giving them a PS5 app for trailers and hype? A studio with no portfolio doesn't get that and a teaser trailer just for lulz. I think we can expect this to be a significant IP. A significant PS5 IP coming this holiday means that's no small team.I still don't understand how and why Sony posted their video is this isn't real at all.
Yeah but … eating your own poop …It's got Kojima modus operandi written all over it. And Sony signing it off makes it too obvious.
If they stuck with the apology from a few months back and not follow up with these recent tweets I'd be more doubtful.
This last Kojima troll w Keighley is him tipping the hand. Remember, Sony had to sign up on both things.
Maybe they purchased Konami or at least their IPs (Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, and hopefully Suikoden) I remember that being a rumor a while back. Maybe they got it done.

AFAIK it won't be the former as Konami is a publicly traded company so that offer would need to be announced to shareholders before completionMaybe they purchased Konami or at least their IPs (Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, and hopefully Suikoden) I remember that being a rumor a while back. But Yamaoka works on tonnes of games. Even little indie things that no one really pays attention to.I'm sure others must have already pointed out in this thread but this alligns with what Yamaoka teased not too long ago:
Then later Al-Hub has pulled the interview "by request of an unspecified party."

Pretty sure he wouldn't have said "I’m quite sure it will be the one you’ve been waiting for" if it was an indie game. But Yamaoka works on tonnes of games. Even little indie things that no one really pays attention to.
