But my point was I think he re-edited the tweet to highlight that.
And I pointed out 2 "scary" scenes in DS specific to private rooms earlier in the thread.... it's a thing in the game.. the new scenes are consistent with them.. with Reeeeedus waking up from his little mini-nightmares.

I mean don't get me wrong, I am pretty sure that they are making one, considering their partnership. So yes, the name of my favorite franchise is being used again for a game, which does not deserve the name.
But yes, I am also pretty sure that the japanese one is real. Yamaoka-san spoiled the announcement of a game everyone wants to hear about for the summer. Now, with the state of the world, that announcement was surely delayed, so we are still waiting for it. Some people seem to think he meant the one by bloober team, but I think this is highly unlikely because they finished the Medium not that long ago and the partnership with Konami is still young, so it would be much too early to announce it.

Yamaoka worked with Bloober on Medium, so it lines up.
I agree, Ito designs could make a game for me. They are mediocre studio, but great creature design would elevate the game.

You are right. I never find Resident Evil scary, because you know what you are fighting against. Silent Hill throws less enemies at you and is therefore much scarier, because you don’t know what the creatures are.
Regarding the bloober post, if that proofs anything, it’s that as expected their Silent Hill version is still far away and can’t therefore be the game Yamaoka-san was teasing.

A leaker that has a really good track record just said that some asian studio is handling a metal gear remake and bluepoint is remaking "a beloved" ip. Also said that beloved IP isnt metal gear. For reference, she called the playstation event for september in late july and known about the wolverine release days before the ps event

I think the wolverine one caught me offguard. Jason schrier said marvel superhero but she actually got the wolverine post 3 days before the event. That should count as something

I would call bs on this but her track record and what Konami did to PES make me believe they would just give MGS to the cheapest studio

I don't trust this "leaker", she said Bluepoint is remaking a beloved game, but Playstation has finally officially announced the BLuepoint purchase, but if I read it correctly, they said Bluepoint would not be working on a remake next.
Also if this is real and Abandoned is related to Kojima, I am sure Sony is even more careful than usual that nothing leaks outside.
I mean everyone can make some assumptions and if you are lucky you get a handful right, but that does not mean you are suddenly an insider. And even if you are an insider, they still get often stuff wrong.

Apparently they have two games one is an original ip, the other a remake, which isnt really that tall of a hurdle considering they finally have the backing and funds from sony

Well the article states again that one of the Silent Hill projects is at a prominent Japanese developer. Not sure what I think about the MGS Remake rumor. The Singapore studio does not sound like it is full of talent and I would rather see a remake of the first game.

Mixed feelings on remaking MGS 3 as opposed to 1 or 2.
On one hand, it's probably my favorite in the series. There is a lot you could improve and/or expand upon.
On the other, I'd love to play 1 or 2 with a third-person camera perspective. If they're being skipped over now, will Konami ever get back to them?
