if this isnt real and really is just a indie studio making a game called abandoned
We already know these two points are incorrect. The indie studio is made of fake employees, excluding Hasan, and is apparently working with "more than 7" other studios on a game which is NOT titled Abandoned (development codename), of which we haven't seen anything from.

Then there is Geoff's cheesy smile laden video where he is basically promoting some rando asset flip. Increased chances by 15 percent.
And he's now helping his good friend Hasan, who contancted him at 5:30-6AM..

I was only 50 percent sure yesterday, but today I read the dev's 'interview' answer stating how he was jealous of Kojima for taking the credit for his game, which increased chances by 10 percent. Nobody talks like that.

Kojima was making Silent Hills and P.T. created a lot of hype. The original creator of Silent Hill, Gravity Rush, and Siren is Keiichiro Toyama. You might say Keiichiro Toyama was Silent Hill and Siren's Head of studio. By the way, in Siren, you kill demons. Can you say Demon Blood? Its gotta be Keiichiro Toyama, he is the only one who can be jealous of Silent Hill, it is his creation.

And then there was the youtube channel. The one where the word ABANDONED was commented FOUR YEARS AGO!! That gave me goosebumps. Increased chances by 25 percent. So now I'm 100 percent sure!!

Guys, I think this might be a Metal Gear game, and not a Silent Hills game. Here is why I think it's Metal Gear:

1. There have been rumors regarding a Metal Gear game in development at Bluepoint studios for some time now. Here is the tweet that started it all.

Yes, there are hints of many other games in there, but Metal Gear is one of them.

2. KatharsisT (credible insider or a troll, I'll let you decide) always said that Metal Gear is under development, and he/she has maintained that stance ever since.

3. Other people, including Moore's Law is Dead and our very own NXGamer have also hinted at a Metal Gear PS5 game in development.

4. Kojima's latest Death Stranding trailer had Metal Gear written all over it. They even used the same music, which wouldn't be possible without Konami's blessings. Then the "Handled with Love" message could be interpreted in multiple ways: past games or a recent game that was handled with love?

TxmmlWD.jpg

5. Then Blue Box Game Studios recently tweeted this.

Does Blue refer not to color, but a game studio? Bluepoint?

6. In the latest Death Stranding trailer (which had MGS environments and MGS references, such as the BOX (eh?) and oranges, look at the above image again and see what flag is on Sam's bag? Netherlands.

Guess where Blue Box Game Studios is apparently located? Netherlands.

7. Blue Box Game Studios also said that 7 studios are supporting them, and they have top voice actors. I don't think a game like Silent Hills will require help from 7 studios, but Metal Gear might will.

8. Blue Box also recently tweeted this poll:

Metal Gear is one of those few games that is played in both first-person and third-person.

Of course, I could be wrong. But I think now that this is probably a Metal Gear game. And I hope it is.

Not-Kojima, for the win.

But bluepoint's references from their teaser, and their previous game all point towards silent hill.

Could be Silent Hill game, but is the franchise still the same without its core director, composer and writers. I think the soundtrack of SH2 was really haunting. Not very excited though, but i will keep in mind to check it if the rumors are true.

It pretty much sums up almost everything and it's being updated. I believe it should be in the OP Ramz87 Ramz87

Also, I don't know about others, but following down this rabbit hole in the last few days, it's one of the most fun I've had recently in the gaming industry outside of playing games.

Not even the E3 excitement was as much fun as this is. Even if it turns out to be a dud, thanks to Blue Box for providing us with this entertainment and Kojima for ... just existing in this world lol.

"Yes, we didn't see that coming at all. At the beginning, people got hyped on the Playstation YouTube channel because they were convinced this was a new Kojima-project. People even started messaging us. People on Linkedin started calling me Kojima. It was funny at first, but after a while it got annoying since Kojima was getting the credit for our work. But no worries: the gameplay reveal will explain everything. Well, you never know though, it's the internet after all..."

However he's much more believable in another IGN interview:

At first I was receiving messages from people telling me that they’ve been watching me and that I (As Kojima) used some marketing tricks to promote his next game. At first, I didn’t know what he meant until I Googled this. It did bother me a bit as we as a team are so excited to tease a bit of our game and then this conspiracy comes, it does bother. All I wanted to do is to tease our game. We’ve also put a statement on our website with our response to the conspiracy theory. And regarding our social media presence, we’re a small team and not a big AAA studio, it’s already hard work to work on a highly polished game for PS5 so we really can’t spare the time to work on our social media presence fulltime (while it is important). So my reaction to it wasn’t fun but it did make me laugh.

We also know that a Silent Hill game is in development though. An old rumor said there were even two of them in production.

5. Then Blue Box Game Studios recently tweeted this.

It refers to Best Level User Experience.

8. Blue Box also recently tweeted this poll:

Silent Hills would have also been third and first person.

The Death stranding trailer was Kojima putting Metal Gear behind him. Hence putting the box back on the shelf. Metal Gear is behind kojima, but he is working on another project for Sony. Bluepoint is handling the remake of MGS.

Can't understand people who want a non Kojima mgs remake over a Kojima silent hill. Bluepoint has demonstrated they don't actually get the games they are remaking. First with sotc, then with demon souls. They just make up to date visuals. MGS isn't mgs without Kojima. Its going to be worse.

What if it's not a remake but MGS 6 and we were just a part of one of the longest, most tragic type of pr game ever created? And in the end we will learn that we were just a projection of the Patriot AI and Solidus Snake was always right, but then we wake up in a tanker and Kojima will tell us that we need to hurry because the collective hype train went too fast and the whole Matrix just bugged out (neogaf getting down a few days back was just the beginning) and we unplugged all because of a memory leak that happened here, so we get to shore from the tanker and we will get recruited as amazon delivery men with exosuits and during one of these deliveries we will enter someones house and the perspective will shift into 1st person with scary spooky ghosts and radio messages and after the 50th corridor reset we will enter a door where the light will blind us and after you can see again you'll sit opposite to Joe Rogan and he'll ask you if you tried DMT and saw chimps fighting.

But i still don't know if this is the end game or just another layer of the dreams we are in...

Wayyyyy to many weird coinsidences. SONY has something special in the pipeline.

Well if you look at what Sony is known to be working on, and with whom, it seems to me that they have enough new and current IP covered already. What is missing is more stuff like the Demon's Reboot, going back to older favourites and giving them a new AAA makeover.

In that respect, going with the one or more of the 3 big Konami franchises -all of which have been dormant for a few years- seems like a natural choice. Konami themselves only seem to be interested in monetizing the IP's, and don't appear overly interested in developing them internally.

So your saying bluepoint doesnt improve anything in their remakes? Because they updated the looks of some of the bosses, they also tweaked and redid a lot of animations making combat more fluid and visceral when getting instant kill animations.

They made huge improvements in shooting in first Uncharted, on top of redoing Nathan's model for in-game. The in game model was the same model used in cutscenes so it had much higher detail.

Shadow of the colossus they also improved a lot of the animations for quality of life like getting on and off your horse, the stumble animations. Not as much as they did for Demons souls.

Kojima would be involved as overseer just like how they did the other remakes. The worked with Japan studio, and some of the original producers behind those titles. I would have to believe with SOny's relationship with Kojima that they would reach out to him for input.
