RUMOR: HIDEO KOJIMA'S NEW GAME WITH BLUE BOX GAME STUDIOS EXPLAINED
On June 15, Blue Box Game Studios teased on Twitter it will soon reveal it's new Sony exclusive project, Abandoned.As Reddit user AidThisFellowUser explained, there are several possible hints linking this project to Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions. We summarized the biggest points below.
- Blue Box Studios might be a fake company made by Hideo Kojima for a new game, similarly to what he did for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and P.T. / Silent Hills
- "Blue Box" also designates phone scams, and the studio's employees photos on Linkedin reportedly use stock photos
- One of the canceled projects by Blue Box was called Lost Tapes, which shares a name with an OST of Metal Gear Solid V
- Blue Box Game Studios is supposed to be based in the Netherlands, and the country's flag was spotted in the Death Stranding Director's Cut trailer
- The game's supposed director, Hasan Kahraman, shares the same initials as Hideo Kojima.
- Hideo Kojima's recent tweet with the words Silent and Hill in it.
- The Abandoned trailer has the letters P.T. at the 0:49 seconds mark

Moreover, Geoff Keighley also follows the Twitter account of Blue Box Studios, and he gave the above answer when asked about it.Keighley has also shared this screen on Resetera, of a message from "Hassan". Seeing how he is friends with Hideo Kojima, it definitely doesn't seem like a coincidence.
Lastly, Keighley also showcased a video message from Kojima at the Summer Game Fest, which was the announcement for Death Stranding Director's Cut, but they were perhaps teasing something else as well.
