Doesn't require 30-40 different theories to all work together in order to be true.
Can you list/cite these 30-40 theories? If not let's dispense with the hyperbole. As far as I've read/followed it's only a handful of individual theories at best.

It got the attention of Jeff because of the conspiracy

Geoff followed BlueBox games almost instantly and also instantly took a screenshot of a "random indie" dev that reached out to him and sat on it for a while. Do you honestly think that's standard behaviour for Geoff? He must get numerous unsolicited requests from no-name indie devs on a daily basis, all wanting the industries primo hype man to just give them 1/10th of the attention he's given Hasan. How many do you think he obliges? 0. And yet he did it for this failed dev.

Sony has promoted terrible games in the past.

Yeah yeah we know, Life Of Black Tiger. It's all anyone ever cites.

1) It was just a trailer published on Sony's Youtube. Not a full spread blog post like with this game
2) It wasn't a ground up game made for Playstation, it was a port of an already released mobile game.
3) It was released by a dev that at least had some establishment. They'd released hundreds of mobile games in the past and racked up million of downloads.

Can you show be Sony promoting a game on their blog by a developer with as little experience (with that experience being failure) as Blue Box?

Because there is concrete evidence of previous games that they made on steam and old pages of their website from 5 years ago advertising their old games
Their portfolio of "games" is as follows:
A games that they marketed but never released.
A game they did a Kickstarter for that flopped spectacularly that they then pulled and said went into "private funding". Never released.
A mobile game that they briefly released and then pulled
One poorly received barely one man and his dog downloaded Steam game. Also announced for PS but never released.

LOADS of undergraduates at University (never mind outright hobbyists) have better game making resumes/portfolios than that. Are they also able to get PS Blog posts and grab the attention of Geoff?

That man is a real neurosurgeon who published peer-reviewed papers about the head transplant thing.

Kojima/Konami may have based the character in MGSV on his likeness, but he was not involved at all with the game.

Oh okay gotcha! Weird that they were able to use his likeness that way.

How many people does Geoff follow? Honest question, I don't have a Twitter account to check. Maybe he has a habit of following random devs. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have emerged from my World of Warcraft TBC classic cave and see we have some crazy speculation that a studio named Blue Box Studios could actually be Kojima...

As a huge David Lynch fan, the first thing that came to my mind was the blue box from Mulholland Drive. Its an iconic scene from the movie and I urge everyone to watch it for themselves, but what is interesting is that Kojima has shown from his social media accounts that he is a huge Lynch fan (makes sense), and how he was nervous when he realized David Lynch was his age when he made Mulholland Drive.

Since I know not everyone enjoys the utter mind fuck of a David Lynch movie, you might google the meaning of the blue box but just keep in mind that there are many interpretations, but I always saw it as the spark of reality that exists within a dream where the main character's sense of ego resided.

Correlation? Who knows...if its actually Kojima, it would make sense in its own way, but I prefer that vs 'Playstation comes in a blue box'.

I don't have a twitter account either so I can't see what types of accounts he follows but I can see the raw number of nearly 8000. Yeah that is a lot but he's not following say @1games_ the studio that put out Life Of the Black Tiger that everyone always cites so it's not like he's following any shitty game dev that released a game on PS.

Also it's the level of interaction he's having with BlueBox that's bigger question mark. The fact he follows 8000 people actually makes this an even bigger question mark, do people believe Geoff has time to interact with the majority of the 8000 people he follows to this degree? Does he also instantly screenshot any DM he gets from any of the 8000 people he follows?

Well, gonna be interesting to say the least. If it is real, Sony can't say shit. They announce an event and it's a dead giveaway.

I still feel like this app is gonna be a bunch of cookie crumb trailers or cryptic shit leading up to Sonys event.

Like...what the Hell was that Media Molecule thing with the penguins?

Look up HK first game...

They will show the game and you will be disappointed that Hideo is nowhere to be found. But some will still believe its real. You will think that they are an Indie developer as they say. But some will still believe its real. The games title will be titled "SurvivaL." You will refuse to purchase this game. But many will purchase the game and play it to the end. They will be the first to know. Like PT, the ending will reveal what the game is. Is it Silent Hill or is it Metal Gear?

This dev got a PS Blog post, that got attention instantly because it was labeled a PS5 exclusive.. Geoff's follow likely happened because of that blog post, which was posted to Twitter, and he responded to. Not remotely far fetched.

The dev then reached out for maybe being included in summer games fest.. a dev that Geoff thinks is making a legit PS5 exclusive.. so he saves it off potentially for later to see if the game could get a spotlight. Not remotely far fetched. Lots of people use screenshots to organize information. I do it in chats, because people do things like give me their email or address and I'm on my phone and just save a screenshot, and then favorite it.

App is Friday. Delayed due to localisation issues for three days. Apparently only the app and instructions on how to use the app but no trailer.
Has there ever been a console app for a game before that wasn't the actual game. Not saying it's proof, but this is exactly the kind of thing Kojima could hide all sorts of little easter eggs in.

What game releases with anywhere near this amount of mystery? People will figure out long before release if this is affiliated with Kojima or not. There are people who think Elvis is alive, but they aren't even worth talking about. Almost everyone in here will agree that it's real or fake once we hit a certain point. The gameplay reveal alone is going to be pretty fucking definitive by itself. We'll also know more about BBGS if this isn't associated with Kojima, just like we've learned about other indie studios that get prominent promotion by Sony.

Paying these guys for art is the best evidence we have he possibly spent a decent amount of money. (or is planning to, as all evidence points to him scattering to come up with something after his first asset flip trailer)

But that company is just a front for a bunch of freelancers they get jobs for. So who knows how many smaller / cheap things they do, or what the cost would be for a couple of character models or something like that.

The other company he listed sells decent looking stuff for like $70 a model... hence the term "asset flip."

It's Kojima.

Where's that guy that was talking about square emojis not being box emojis for half of this thread? We need to dive deeper on the emoji lore

They have done concept art for a bunch of AAA Sony games, Spider-Man, Days Gone, Death Stranding, Ghost. They did concept art on the first Halo Infinite trailer as well.

I think we should forget about the cost thing because it's clearly a lie. They are not making a AA 4K 60 open-world game at $83,333/year for 3 years.
