It's still Halloween in my timezone, so I wanted to make a post about a recent video I did on Saw 3. I previously did a recommendation on the second film, but this time we go much more in-depth on the story and characters. This is the end of Jigsaw's original trilogy and its events have rippled into every future film for the worse. I do point out a lot of the positives and go over its underrated director's cut. Let me know what you thought about Saw 3 and whether or not you thought it was a good sendoff for the character or a solid story in its own right. Did you like the trap designs and concepts? Was Jeff a good protagonist in your mind? Do you think Saw 4 should have followed up on its ending like it was originally intended or are you glad they went for a different story?

I enjoyed it aside from killing off Amanda. If the series was ending there then fine but Hoffman was a goddamn terrible successor. Didn't really like the ones that followed aside from I think six? and the last one was decent since surprise surprise it was Amanda and John the two characters that actually mattered.

You think they should have done a solo Amanda film? I definitely would have been more invested in her as a villain than Hoffman. 4 is still a pretty good entry, in my opinion though.

I feel like they didn’t know what they were gonna do with him until 5. That whole movie exists to set up his backstory and justification. I think I could do a video on 4 and then summarize all the Hoffman movies into one video about him.
