Demons Souls Vita or Bust.
That's what the system needs for the core gamer.
It'd be huge in certain circles, for sure. I feel like Vita gets a lot of word of mouth though but that hasn't been translating into sales, maybe it's just that too many gamers think the bottom will fall out any day now, but if they can get enough killer software on it then it could tip over into the "gotta-have" territory. I still wonder about that "Forsaken Souls" name, by the way, I could swear the rumors had it registered after Soul Sacrifice was known worldwide and the international release commitment was blogged so it's not clear to me that that was just a trademark thing. Sure would be a cool game to have on Vita if Sony did keep its part of the "Souls" license active this way, though I'm not sure who would make it? (Feels kind of like when White Knight PSP came out of nowhere from the middle of SCEJ instead of Level-5.)
Yes, please. Rockstar Leeds did great things with the other two PSP games, and even if San Andreas weren't built to GTA 4/5 levels of detail, if it ran on the new HD GTA gameplay engine (bolstered by Euphoria physics and all that) with a stylized version of the old San Andreas graphics (use the PC game's textures and do something interesting with a filter and the character designs to accentuate the lesser detail,) I'd play that for years. I don't know that it'd move tons of Vitas since the PSP games were hyped to hell and only did so much business, but as with Demons Souls Vita, it'd help tip the teetertotter.
Pro Evolution Soccer actually sounds like a good guess.
That's crazy, I didn't realize it but there is no PES on Vita, huh? Seems like it has to happen now that they've got a new engine and aren't just spinning their wheels anymore.
You have Diablo 3. Crossplay PS3/Vita.
Why DIDN'T that happen, by the way? I feel like there was no reason to port to PS3 this late in the game without a larger platform scope (then again, PS4 is in that mix.)
I really don't think another AC would be that "amazing" or exciting IMO.
AC: Liberation didn't burn up the charts but it did pretty well for a Vita game and sold some systems. It'd be a pretty big deal to do it again, especially if they learned how to scale the production without killing themselves and coming up short like they did with the first Vita game (and Griptonite's PSP game, for that matter.) I'd say that'd be about as amazing and exciting an announcement for those who like the franchise as the first Vita game. If we're talking a game that will be AAA for the floundering system, though, that ship seems to have sailed.
