SCEE exec teases "an amazing big title coming to Vita" [Not an indie title]

Sony has a policy for HD remakes. U need atleast 2 games in the collection. No single game is allowed for retail. So either we will get it on psn or Crisis core & Type-0 Collection.

It's red dead redemption:stories.

I don't even want to know how. That is awesome, especially the thumbs up from the horse. It's not in the actual game is it? In the credits or something? I still haven't got to playing RDR.

It would be one hell of a game to poke some 3DS/Nintendo fans with enjoy, it fits the descriptions at least...here's hoping. Rockstar were said to be making games for the Vita and after some researching just now apparently there was a list of games for the vita and one of them included a red dead game called "Red Dead Record: 1847":

Just maybe.

before crisis remake then

Shahid would lose every follower on twitter if that's what this was. :P

If the way they're hyping it is real and not usual PR hype, then it has to be something new and along the lines of a GTA or RDR. A port/remake (outside of the obvious FF7) isn't worth this type of hype.

Phantasy Star Victory? Never even heard of that.

FFXI Vita? I knew it was hinted at but confirmation of this would be just awesome!

No Skies of Arcadia HD though :(

That was a rumor from before the Vita was even officially announced, from someone who had a track record of predictions, IIRC. Then when the Vita was announced, people thought it would be on the Vita, because of the name (Phantasy Star: Portable or PS:P being on the PSP, PS:V would be on the PSV).

Instead, we got Phantasy Star Online 2, which I guess is good, but personally I would rather have had a PS:P style game, offline/co-op, not a MMORPG.

Maybe they were working on a spin-off but changed their mind and went with a port instead? It makes sense to go port first...less risky, builds up userbase safer on that platform... might just be dreaming :P

Could likely be fake of course :( And incomplete! :)

Yeah, there is always that possibility. But it still nice to see that Vita is not forgotten.

Also, I wonder what that Bioshock could be? Bioshock Vita? Or perhaps a new entry for the coming console generation?

Anyway, nice catch!

Xcom would be a huge get for me, as would borderlands, Yakuza, and Red Dead...... :(

Not hyping myself up for this until it comes from Sony with gameplay attached

Bioshock Vita was already announced a couple of E3s ago, but as of February this year it's apparently still not in development yet.

I wonder what Sony Bend have been up to lately. Development of Uncharted:GA wrapped up by December 2011 for the Japan release, which gives them a sold year and a half of dev time - enough to present something at E3 perhaps? These guys were also pretty damn efficient at making games on PSP, although U:GA took a bit longer.

I'm also intrigued at what Polyphony Digital could be doing with Gran Turismo on Vita. I believe they have a second studio now and it's been nearly 4 years since GT PSP was released. All those car models they already have (standard would be fine on Vita I think) could make it an easy job to just make a run of the mill GT game with ported assets. They also seem to be recovering their efficiency lately (GT6 3 years after GT5).

I doubt that this is related, but it's still good news for Vita owners, Silicon Studio (3D Dot Games Heroes and Bravely Default) confirmed that they're working on a Vita game.

Neat, thanks! Got a link?

Btw. Shahid, when are you going to visit the thread again :) Don't make us wait until E3!

The teasing goes on.

Found it on the Vita thread.

It would be nice to at least know which games he is referring to, even if he tells after they are announced or released. We still don't even know about his first tease. Was it Freedom Wars? Any other that we already know about? It would be great to know so the guessing can finally stop.

Edit: I forgot FW is first party, so that's probably not it.

That feeling of despair when you realize that both Crash and Spyro are not owned by Sony...

Here's hoping its not a port or remake. Also sorry to say but it isn't a jrpg likely. I wouldn't mind a Medievil vita.
