Schedule I is an immersive simulation game that challenges players to build a drug empire from the ground up in the grungy west-coast city of Hyland Point. Starting as a small-time dealer, players will manufacture and distribute a range of drugs, expand their operations, and contend with law enforcement and rival cartels to reach the pinnacle of the underworld.

It's currently an enormous breakout success on Steam, made by a solo developer (!).

Noticed we didn't have a proper thread for this one yet. It looks to be very fleshed out for early access and worth diving into.

Have you played much EviLore EviLore ? Worth a punt? I saw a few streams, and just discounted it as the latest flash in the pan.

Guy who wrote it must be buzzing, kudos to him.

Always happy to see indiebros succeeding, the do what big companies can't even think of doing.

Btw, chief forgot to mention it but there's a demo available.

Haven't had the time yet but watched some videos. It looks good, lot of depth to the systems. It's a lot like growing a real business, where you do all the work yourself until you reach the point where you're time limited, then start automation and hiring workers while trying to balance the books. Then throw in the criminal element and the police, exploiting the addiction levels of your clients, etc., and there's a lot going on.

Yeah same.

I've been after something that resembled the drug running in GTA Chinatown Wars for years, this looks way more in depth, might scratch the itch. Cheers.

Played this with a buddy last night and it's fun as hell. Figured we'd play for an hour or so but the next thing I knew it had been four and half hours.

Oh neat, it's multiplayer?

This looks fun. Reminds me of my days playing Drug Wars on my TI-83 in class. I wonder how fun the loops are for the various systems. A game like this seems like it would have to balance a lot really well so that no one aspect feels like a slog.

Will probably give this a try with a friend this or next weekend.

Here's a nice vertical slice trailer. This game looks dope.

Played about 10 hours, its very in-depth for a indie early access game.

You start in a motel room, growing and selling weed, as you progress you get more houses, money laundering businesses, wide variety of drugs to cook and grow, hire helpers and employ dealers, buy cars and build a drug empire. Very addictive game.

Tried this with a buddy last night and it was so much fun. Divvying up the responsibilities and then swapping each day made for a really addictive loop. I can't imagine this game would be nearly as fun by yourself, but it's surprisingly good.

As an early access game, there are some quirks and glitches, but overall the loop seems really balanced, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Gonna try and put a few more hours into this today.

These games are dangerously addictive.

I swore I'd quit playing simulators after the last one…

But I have to try it. Nothing else quite scratches that itch.

im gonna be honest, found the game extremely simple and boring not sure why its so popular.

But go off, have fun folks lol
The core mechanics are engaging and can carry you for a while but it needs to have more dynamism, gang wars, etc., to keep it interesting long-term. Not much left to do once you get a decent sized space and automation going. But that's a solid chunk of game time.

Had more fun with this game compared to many AAA titles.

End game needs a little padding. Maybe better ways to automate turn it even more idle.. cops seem rather weak. But again more fun than many 60+ dollar games.
