School Days comes from a series of similar games preceding it, most of which you play as the MC's dad who is super pro-active about reversing the declining birthrate statistic in Japan.

The good thing is that this game has 20 endings while only 4 are bad ones. It is way more enjoyable than the actual anime^^

The thing with many eroge is the sex scenes are not the main focus at all. Calling it "plot with porn" rather than the other way around is pretty apt. Plenty of people that don't find this stuff arousing at all play games like this, and some are not even meant to be found arousing like Saya no Uta.

That's what made the anime so good, though. I don't think anything has gutted me quite like School Days did.
And Makoto doesn't deserve a happy ending, anyway.

I can't take overly depressing things like that, I had read up on the show last night and saw the ending and while makoto was an asshole for all that to happen to most of the characters I mean damn.
I am intrigued by the game though.

Honestly though, the game
has some worse bad end routes than the anime. There's also like 4 Good End routes for every Bad End so it's not like the game is full of murder

Dude, this game is a pretty straightforward porn game. And it's fully animated in glorious HD too.
