Off topic, i don't know why but everytime i see Schreier face i want to punch it.
This is a terrible decision, put the Definitive Edition with the DLC included at full price and the DLC available for existing owners to purchase for $30.yeah sure.
Makes no sense for definitive edition.
The game is still new and it's amazing. One of my fav games this gen. Looks incredible, plays very relaxed. just the right length (considering not doing all side stuff of course).
It's a good choice. focus on next game
Good news then, it's totally normal as his face is like the Turing test but for human!Off topic, i don't know why but everytime i see Schreier face i want to punch it.
Their big mistake was when they stopped licensing out their properties to other companies and made everything internal. I get the appeal of earning more money with internally ran projects, but they clearly underestimated the large commitment of time and investment that game development takes.Holy shit WB has to be one of the most retarded publishers in the business.
Absolute clown show.

They didn't initially but Bloomberg reported they saw plans for both with the expansion being exclusive to the Definitive Edition with graphical enhancements.Maybe I'm misremembering or confusing it for another game. Didn't they initially say "no DLC plans" before finally saying "ok, now there's DLC plans"? Maybe it was all rumors and "leaks"?
Not releasing DLC for your game that sold 30 million copies sounds like an excellent way of not printing money.

Company as a whole, really.Holy shit WB has to be one of the most retarded publishers in the business.

You get extra money out of existing players and can keep the title relevant and in the public's eye for longer.DLC in general has always been a weird business model to me because I don't understand how it's profitable. I mean, it must make financial sense to do it, but when you look at the number of Steam reviews for a base game compared to its DLC, it's shockingly low.
E.g. Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 = 120,000 reviews. "A Woman's Lot" DLC has 3,000 reviews--the most of any of the KCD DLCs. The others are around 1,000 reviews--a few under 1K.
How does it work? Is it basically giving teams that they have on staff that can't contribute to the next full project something to do, and breaking even is good enough? Are they selling way more than they seem to be?
The AT& T merger was disastrous for them.Disappointing.
WB as a whole (not just gaming division) used to be amazing, I don't know what the fuck happened.
She's a kickass character and I'd buy that game day 1.WB Games is canceling everything to make room for their planned Amanda Waller ARPG.

& I've heard that he actually gives in & does it occasionally...Who doesn't? I think even he feels like punching himself when he looks in the mirror.
I agree. The IP is full of opportunities for DLC if done well. Lots of money to be made. Only thing is what the cost of obtaining the rights are.So, the game that PRINTED money for WB, was a global phenomenon for the better part of a year, and is set in a universe where DLC for it essentially writes itself… Won't be supported any further.
Incompetent is the kindest adjective for WB's stupidity that I can currently think of.
