Meanwhile, I'm thrilled just to see Wilco on October 13th.

You won't be dissapointed, they put on an ace show!

On a side note, I wish Arcade Fire and Feist would come to Montreal :(

I'm so poor though, Beck is playing here September 28th and I don't know if I can afford it - Metric is coming October 1st and that's a must - ah, I need a new job!

Tegan and Sara are coming to CT October 4th, and I'm seeing Weezer/Foo Fighters on October 14th in New Jersey.

Tegan & Sara are cool live, very personable on stage.

Go see My Morning Jacket, you will not regret it.

9/28 - Ted Leo
10/4 - Built to Spill
10/18 - The Mountain Goats

I would go see Death Cab in Philly in late October with friends, but it's in the middle of the week and I can't afford to skip that many classes. Oh well.

Such a great show, and they've just started playing new stuff over in Europe these past few days. I just hope they come back to NYC soon.

At least i've got Across the Narrows. :)

Hey now, I took White Man with me to the New Pornographers instore a couple weeks back, but he hasn't responded to me since! I'm aware of your coolness, but I need to hear back from people about stuff.

Heh, I'll try and get ahold of them, but Joey is a big ass rock star (not really, but his band O.F.F. is being courted by BMI and Lizard King Records) so it's tough to catch him on the phone.

I got tickets for the Death Cab benefit today, which is nice. Since I missed out on getting tickets for the Paramount shows as I was in Canada during the pre-sale and the actual sale. And I sure as fuck wasnt going to sit in the third mezzanine, row ZZZ.

Awesome. I'll be hanging with the Barsuk Mafia that night, but try and find me and say hi.

Thanks to their surprise Bumbershoot performance and then these three upcoming shows, I will have seen DCFC a total of 53 times.

I'm no Seattle kid, but I am hitting up some sweet concerts. Spoon, Death Cab, Weezer/Foo Fighters, Sleater Kinney, Sufjan Stevens, Interpol and (hopefully) Rilo Kiley all in the next month or so.

Ooh, Feist is gonna be back here in Novemeber? I'm going to have to go check that out, since I missed the last one. Time to start digging through the Rolodex to try and score some tickets...

All fans of Sleater Kinney should make their pilgrimage to Lacey, WA, and see their name sake:

I won Audioslave tickets on the radio for the end of this month. The Bravery are playing here soon after that, are they supposed to be good live?

WhiteMan and terrene still want me to take them to the SW Washington Fair to see Foghat and/or REO Speedwagon live.

And also to get raped by drunken hillbillies.

Good times; good times.

i was thinking of driving down to see kurt cobain's grave. ROAD TRIP ANYONE???
if you're going to do a grave road trip seattle is a somewhat cool place. Bruce and Brandon Lee, Jimi Hendrix, and Cobain. Not to sound morbid or anything...

I always found it funny seeing pictures of goth kids with their face painted like the crow at Brandon Lee's grave :lol
