There's likely a very strong selection bias going on here.

Boomers writ large aren't online and using sites like this one nearly as much as other generations. Those who are doing so are already well outside the norm, eg. old kinksters of a certain stripe.

To extrapolate Phub's numbers to the populace on any of the breakdowns in OP would be highly misleading due to a ton of selection effects (people into particular niches, for instance, simply aren't searching for it on Phub) -- and particularly for the oldest demographics.

Lots of different ways to identify "you" as a unique nameless user on the internet; then it's not a huge leap to identify you personally.

This site is an example of a "fingerprint" sites can use to tie your browsing habits across sites: https://amiunique.org/fingerprint

Turns out mine is unique out of 3M profiles. Now, imagine if a site has your fingerprint, then another site with which your email/phone number is used to log in partners with that site to share user data. Now both parties have your name/personally identifying info. Not very hard to get your demographics from there, I would think.
