SEGA Humble Bundle (Total War, Alpha Protocol, Typing of the Dead, and more)

Ugh only two keys blows. I have some of the games already. Seems like a waste that you can't give away keys for games you own already.

two keys :(

That really sucks. Oh well, I'll still be buying it.

I already have all but two of the higher tier (on Steam - I own them both from other stores), so I'll be holding off on this one. And I've seen Shogun 2 for cheaper than that elsewhere, too.

I get the disappointment, but honestly I feel like this kinda had to happen. The bundles are great deals, and I do appreciate the ones that give me separate keys. But when you are selling such great bundle deals you don't want people to not buy the bundles by splitting the keys they own already or shady resellers waiting and then trying to trade off the spare keys from bundles.

Wish Sonic Generations or ASRT was part of this, more people deserve to play them. (Although ASRT was in the Yogscast bundle a while back.)
Sonic All-Stars Racing is part of this bundle... in Germany.

So these are just Steam keys, not like... some DRM-free versions or something?
"All of these games run on Steam for Windows only. Please check the full system requirements for the games here."

I don't think DRM-free versions of these games exist, I think Humble Bundle would offer these as well otherwise.

Binary Domain and Alpha Protocol are two of my favorite overlooked games in the past few years. One of the best Humble Bundle promotions in a while. Although I don't think paying $15 for the sole purpose of getting Shogun 2 is anywhere near a good deal.

I had a couple of the games already but went ahead and bought anyway. I think the bundle's worth it for Typing of the Dead alone, but even if you don't like the idea of shooting zombies with your keyboard, there's still a lot to like here for the price.

I buy pretty much every Humble Bundle. Charity, support game company back-catalogs, boost my Steam game-count epeen, etc. Actually, I haven't bothered to add most of the games to Steam . . . I should do that and see how many it is.

And jeez, man up and pay more than $6! Get into double digits at least. Move up the charity slider if that helps you.

Yeah, wording was a little awkward, so I wasn't quite sure. In any case, that's disappointing.

Just in case people were hoping to gift some games you have already to friends, they're clustered into two steam keys.

You know, it feels bad to literally not have five spare bucks to get Binary Domain. :(

Is Alpha Protocol worth it, though? I've heard good things and am always in the mood for a good "choice and consequence" RPG.

you lucky fuckers, i don't find a typing training program with zombies appealing at all :(

You can play the game without typing and shooting zombies instead. It doubles as a PC port of House of the Dead: Overkill, and on the main menu can choose Original or Typing Mode.

Alpha Protocol is absolutely worth it. I bought it for $2 from a Steam sale and felt I ripped off Sega and Obsidian. Just treat it as a cheesy spy RPG and pump points into game-breaking combat skills ASAP; it's not a game in which you want combat to be a challenge.

The mouse aiming sucks though, it's so slow with no option to increase the sensitivity.
