Sega PC ports campaign continues with petition (Vanquish, Bayonetta, VF5)

Since this thread is open again, let's guess at the next Sega port. I would go for Bayonetta 2 (if you still consider that a Sega game). I would like to see Fist of the North Star, but the licencing might make it problematic (despite Yakuza-style games being popular on the platform)
Bayonetta 2 was a Nintendo funded game so that seems unlikely.

I thought doing shit like this was bannable.
This was an organized, community effort, that achieved results. Either way, doubt EviLore EviLore wants to ban me over it this late in the game.

Hopefully there was a time limit, but knowing Nintendo...
Not out of the question but unlikely, I would also love to see Bayonetta 2/3 on PC some day. The situation has improved so much since we did this campaign though -- really grateful for that.

11 years for Sega to acknowledge there was a petition for VF5 on pc :D
almost 4 years to get the game that was already running inside Yakuza 6, add a .exe and sell it.

Way to fucking go Sega!

Technically it is the 2021 major revision instead of the 2012 release.

Isn't the gameplay the same as Final Showdown?
Obviously rebalancing post launch apart.
The game is rebuilt on the Dragon engine. It doesn't have any of the extra content from Final Showdown. It does make one major improvement in removing counter hit property during movement alongside a myriad of tweaks to juggles and the like. The major systems remain the same to its detriment.

And with Virtua Fighter 5 REVO announced for Steam this campaign has finally achieved its goals:
Honestly, current Sega is killing it.
New VF, JSR, CT,GA, are also coming...

Even Shadow Gen is probably the best 3D Sonic with Unleashed (Sonic part) and Adventure.

You know what, you're right. Sega has been killing it recently, shout out to them. Big Capcom revival vibes, and that Atlus acquisition has probably paid for itself 2 or 3 times over at this point.

Anyone knows why Scudracer and/or Daytona 2 never got ported over to pc or consoles?

Scud racer I'm pretty sure it was because of licensing agreement. All the cars in there were from the BPR Global GT Series. A gran Turismo series that lasted only two years.

Let's say that Sega bet on the wrong horse.

I agree I just wish SEGA would look to port House Of the Dead Scarlet and their Lets Go Jungle series to VR on the PC and PS5

Daytona 2 was ported to PC and consoles last year under the name Sega Racing Classic 2. It's included in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

And weren't the tracks from Scud included in one of the Sega racing games on the original Xbox?

Scud race tracks were in Outrun 2.
(washed out versions though)
