yeah, judgment was my final rgg go-to, as well. so it goes, it was a long, fun run...Well, with yakuza turning to shit too, there is nothing that interested me in this studio anymore
Same here. Last 2 or 3 Yakuza games were kinda shit imo, specially 8 which for me had the worst pacing and writting to date.Well, with yakuza turning to shit too, there is nothing that interested me in this studio anymore
Glad to hear this. Enjoyed the Yakuza games but the Judgement games felt like the weaker step sibling.
Stranger than Heaven looks like a better use resources to have a side project that's not Yakuza.
Big shame, loved those 2 games even more than the Yakuza's. Hopefully that Stranger than Heaven will make a good replacement.
Are we going to be stuck with turn based combat from now on?
Pirate yakuza was fucking dogshit.
I only played the first one and while I had fun with it, it also felt a bit pointless.
Not only was it also set in Kamurocho with a plot involving the Yakuza, but the overall gameplay and structure were nearly identical to the Yakuza games. Adding some boring tailing missions and evidence gathering sequences didn't really do enough to set it apart.
I think spending their resources on something like Stranger than Haven that actually looks more unique is way smarter.
Let it go.
I feel exactly the same I've played all the Yakuza up to LAD plus Judgment and I'm playing Lost Judgment right now. They're good but probably me least favorite games in the series. I don't really like any of the gameplay additions either of these have added. The tailing missions, stealth segments, playing where's Waldo at the crime scene, all of that detracts from the experience for me. I'd rather them focus on other things but still sucks for others who love these gamesI only played the first one and while I had fun with it, it also felt a bit pointless.

they say the actor was caught eating a plate full of saltNot too surprising after the problems Sega seemingly had with the talent agency of the lead actor.
