I don't know, I just personally didn't like the main male lead character at all. Pretty much how I felt about High School DxD, except it was so egregious I couldn't stand to watch more than a couple episodes.

I can deal with a silly premise mixed with a serious plot, but I feel those two shows just didn't balance it right at all.

Maybe I'll give it another try some day, but I have JoJo to catch up on and stuff.

With Play Asia's 20% off sale I was looking at stuff to buy or import, Bullet Girls is sold out though. Anyone have any other game suggestions? PSV or PS4 preferably.

I'm not sure if you'd want to get something that isn't on sale but if you are I recommend preordering "Earth Defense Forces 4.1" for PS4. It's a really fun series that has a thread here with a trailer for it - http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1016809 That trailer seems to be in-engine set in the style of a news program so it's not exactly the best showcase of the gameplay but it does show some gameplay in it. If you want a good representation of the gameplay you can check out videos of "Earth Defense Force 2025" on Youtube, since EDF 4.1 is basically an enhanced port of that game to the PS4 but actually has worthwhile changes, most notably a better frame rate than previous titles in the series since these games are known for lots of frantic action on screen at most times.

thanks for the heads up...but they didn't have much that interested me. I did manage to get Ginga Force which is somehow back in stock. Everything that looked good on PS4 is sure to be localized so that's all I bought.

I have to wonder, does the EU actually buy this series more or are they just being weird about it in the US because they're afraid of puritans or something? There are a LOT of people in the US who like anime and...things like this.

I really liked some of the designs from New Wave, it's a shame they aren't going to use them. I guess they could add it as DLC, but I doubt it.

It's kind of amazing how many characters they made for New Wave, but yeah, also kind of surprising none of them have made it into an actual SK game. Heck, I bet there would be enough that you could have it be a spin off. New Wave Versus.

There are too many, choose one and you will upset the others' fans. Look at IdolM@ster Cinderella. The collab with DOA isn't one way either, so I think they want to draw the interest of different audience (with the same mindset) from the DOA franchise.

As much as I want Ageha in, new wave girls seem pretty unlikely.
I unfortunately don't give a shit about DOA, but Ikkitousen is in so i'm an incredibly happy person.
