Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness were both signed when WWE targeted ROH when HDNet moved the ROH television show from Saturday night to Monday. WWE already pressured Ric Flair into leaving his role as ambassador and television face of the company before the move. Even though the ROH show airs from 8-9 p.m., before Raw, WWE took it as an affront, claiming Monday as “their night” for television and started inquiring to various wrestlers. Those on the WWE creative team have been told to watch ROH tapes to learn who the wrestlers are, which is an indication many more will be getting offers. ROH was already hanging by a thread, and the loss of Danielson is huge.

Other names that have been talked about by WWE are Chris Hero, and in kind of a funny one, Colt Cabana, given Cabana was just cut by the company even though he seemed to establish a character as a television announcer. Tyler Black is also a name that has come up, but he is one of the few wrestlers who has a locked in contract that he can’t get out of easily. The feeling is WWE won’t pursue him because they don’t want to risk a tampering case, but that they would have interest in him when his contract expires. Other names have also come up.

Well that's a dick move by the WWE but the ROH has the best talent to pick from.

A dick move would be them hiring Tyler over Jimmy, then again Jimmy would be screwed in the WWE; just like in RoH :(

I think Hero's probably the most likely to get over in the WWE mostly due to him ticking much of the same boxes as Punk, not to mention that he's bigger.

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are starting their own wrestling promotion:

After talking about it for many years, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff will start a new promotion, called Hulkamania, in November.

The dates for the shows are 11/21 in Melbourne, Australia at Rod Laver Arena; 11/24 in Perth at the SuperDome and 11/28 in Sydney at the Acer Arena.

Condon Sports and Entertainment and KnokX Pro Entertainment will be the local promoters.

Hogan will be going to Australia later this month for a promotional tour when tickets go on sale on 9/24.

No names other than Hogan have been announced.

From Dan Glingcock:

I noticed your news post on the Hulkamania promotion with Eric Bischoff, I was talking to Diamond Dallas Page on Myspace a couple of weeks ago and he mentioned he was contacted by Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan about coming to Australia for some sort of tour, it appears this is what he was talking about. So we'll see if DDP and/or Flair are announced for the tour.

WWE removes title match from Breaking Point PPV line-up
Sep 9, 2009 - 7:00:00 PM

WWE has removed the scheduled Intercontinental Title match between new IC champ John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler from the Breaking Point PPV line-up.

The match has been de-listed from the official PPV line-up on WWE"s website. Smackdown announcer Jim Ross says the match has been moved to a time "To Be Determined."

"It looks as if the pending John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler IC Title bout will take place after Sunday's PPV at some point TBD," Ross said on jrsbarbq.com. "I have high expectations for this rivalry and feel that these two men can have a heck of a series going forward."

Ross added that it looks like the only Smackdown matches will be World Hvt. champion C.M. Punk vs. The Undertaker and Great Khali vs. Kane in a Singapore Cane match. Ross said the Smackdown announcers "possibly" will call the Unified tag title match between Big Show & Chris Jericho and MVP & Mark Henry.

They didn't add any :lol
Hmm, yeah.

So that means the only match I have any interest in is seeing how they're going to get Punk to make Undertaker submit.

Punk is obviously retaining, makes no sense giving the belt to Undertaker.

Wtf? Now all I have left is praying that Taker doesn't bury Punk.

Come on man, I appreciate Jacobs as much as the next guy, but Tyler is the more complete package. He's got the physique, he's got the in-ring abillity, his promos have improved a ton since coming to ROH - Jimmy's a great storyteller, a great ring psychologist and cuts amazing promos, but beyond a couple of matches against Dragon and his early fueds against Shelley, I can safely say the only time i've really enjoyed the hell out of his in-ring work has when he's killing himself in blood fueds against guys Tyler or BJ or when he was tagging with BJ. Tyler's taken part in more main-event level matches this past year alone than Jimmy has during his entire ROH career.

Show and Jericho vs Henry and MVP? Wtf? I don't bother watching Raw any more but weren't Show and Jericho feuding with Crime Time? How many times have they gotten snubbed on their ppv title match? They have been the #1 contenders like 5 times and never get to actually wrestle for the belts.

Vince wants a variety of African-American tag teams to get beaten for the belts. The Shelt and R-Truth are next in line for JeriShow.

I dont get the PPV changing. They used to name them differently every time, then they decided to keep them the same and develop each ones brand.

Now what do they do, start scrapping/changing PPV's and renaming the ones with the best brand recognition.

New Years Revolution was developing into a good PPV with an Annual Elimination Chamber match but they scrapped it for that horrible November ECW PPV.

Unforgiven was probably the oldest of the other PPV's and they scrapped it for This Breaking point crap.

"Bragging Rights"? are you serious?

I miss ECW ppvs. They would announce like 3 matches. Then Simon Diamond would come down for a promo. Nova would run out with a ref and they would have a match for seemingly no reason. Nova would win and a random giant would come down and squash him. Then Spike Dudley runs out and beats the giant in 3 minutes. Then out come the dudley boyz and they would 3d the shit out of spike. Then another tag team would run out and challenge the dudleys for the belts.

A hour and a half after it started and you would have seen 6 unannounced matches that ended in a tag belt title change and it all started with a promo by Simon f'n Diamond.

Isn't Bragging Rights basically Cyber Sunday?

Yes that is what it was renamed from.

That PPV was a waste too. 90% of the voting choices were pointless(what type of clothes do you want the Divas to wear?). They made it even more pointless last year when you had to text to vote.

The only way that PPV could possibly work is if they did something like "screw storylines, who do you want HBK to wrestle" Then let the fans vote for something awesome like Morrison.

I'm trying to think of some smarky signs for Monday.

I'm thinking either "I slipped on a bag too" or "Its okay Cena, Trish gives me a Boner too"

Without the IC title match, I really have very little interest in this ppv.
There is no way in heaven or hell that Vince with put Punk over Taker clean, and I am having difficulty seeing him put Punk over Taker at all...

They need to have them fued until wrestlemania and then have Punk win VERY dirty. This would end the streak and Punk could string it out with alot of "I'm better than you" promos in the following weeks drawing major heel heat from the crowd.

Maybe they dropped Ziggler/Morrision to give the feud a decent build up for the next PPV? Also, maybe they want to give Ziggler a good title run, but dont want Morrison to drop the belt a little ovr a week since he won it.

I will keep faith in the SD writers for now anyway...
Don't fucking bury Punk

Did you miss Summerslam?

Cryme Tyme vs JeriShow was pretty good in Summerslam. Needed more time, though. JTG is an awesome wrestler. Shad sucks at everything. Not even that good of a big man. Likable personality but not so good wrestler.

It is sad/stupid they haven't used John Morrison or even guys like Kofi and Swagger on many PPV's this summer. Yet, for some reason they build and use a garbage feud like Khali and Kane and play it non-stop.

Gunner Eudy, the 16 year old son of former WWF and WCW World champion Sid Vicious, debuted over the weekend as Lord Humongous, a gimmick his father did in the old Continental territory early in his career. Eudy is said to be about the same height as Vicious.

TNA really should have tried to raid ROH before the WWE got there.

TNA already tried that; they took Joe, Homicide, Daniels, Hernandez & Shelley, plus Rave & Aries for a while - trouble is that TNA's hardly an enticing place to work for most top indy guys who are getting booked all over the world. I can just imagine TNA trying to sign Danielson; "So Bryan, how about you come work for us, get lumped in a load of spotty X-Division matches at the bottom of the card, and then when we finally do push you, it'll be against Booker T and you have to put him over." :lol

I doubt ROH has anyone that would be able to break into TNA's main event like Joe did, McGuinness might have fit in well as the leader of the British Invasion, especially if they were willing to give him a strong push, but now that ships sailed I can't see anyone else from ROH's roster being anything other than wasted in TNA.

According to an article on ThePilot.com, former WWE star Jeff Hardy is in a Moore County jail after being arrested on charges of "trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steroids."

The article states that Hardy was arrested after a search of his residence in Cameron revealed he was in possession of 262 Vicodin prescription pills, 180 Soma prescription pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a "residual amount of powder cocaine" and drug paraphernalia items.

The search was part of a joint investigation conducted by offers with the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics and select enforcement units and the Fayetteville Police Department. The article noted that "Vicodin and anabolic steriods are Schedule III substances", while Soma is a non-controlled prescription pill.

Nice timing

wow, $125,000 for bail!

He's currently in Moore County jail with bail set at $125,000. Hardy was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia

Oh... Punk should rub it in some more!

:lol
What a fucktard...
If I were the WWE I would definitely have Punk play it up...
