Sequels the World Doesn't Need...why Hollywood?!

I read somewhere that another Rocky is being made....i mean come one...i also read about another Mortal kombat, which based on the last should never happen, but on the flip side, they need to redeem the series after the last...plus MK has great potential....moreso as a TV show than a movie series.

MK did have a 22 episode series called "Mortal Kombat Conquest". It was kinda crappy. Didn't follow the storylines that much. It followed the first Kung Lao plot pretty good, though. It kept introducing made up characters instead of bringing in MK characters. But it did have a pre T-X Kristanna Loken and a LOT of other hot babes. Was cool how in the last episode,

I remember Conquest...it was on TNT or something....they need a hardhitting rated R series on Showtime or HBO....it would rule all!

another Rocky and Rambo have been talked about for years....I doubt it'll ever see the light of day. Rush HOur 3 isn't new news either but American Pie 4 and Usual Suspect 2....!?

American Pie 4 will probally be a tv or driect to video movie like Chirstmas Vacation 2. Usual Suspects 2......thats a joke right?

It was made for TV. It was shown on NBC last holiday season.

I love the Rambo franchise. Great comedies. I'd love a new one. It still cracks me up when I watch the final scene of Rambo III when he says the legendary phrase "F*** them all" and then starts shooting at an entire army. And then the Talibans come with horses and destroy Russian army's heavy artillery. Great, GREAT stuff.

I saw Jim Carrey on a British talk show. The host asked him about Dumb and Dumberer. Carrey said he hadn't seen it, but wished them the best. Then he was told that it bombed. He jumped up and started pumping his fists. :lol

I saw him on letterman before it got released, he said "Well they say imitation is the sincerest form of ....... plagarism! Normally they wait till you're dead BEFORE ROBBING YOUR GRAVE".

Ah, excellent. I'm not the only one hoping for this. Unfortunately you won't see it happen anytime soon. Dan Akroyd had a script wrote up for it and everything, but Sony didn't wanna let them make the movie. I think there were some problems with Bill Murry, I'm not sure. But anyway, in an interview after all this went down, Dan basically said not to expect it anytime soon and to just let it go. I've learned to cope. Atleast we don't need to worry about a sequal that sucks and screws up the series (although if Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis wrote the script and all the originals returned, I doubt it would suck.)

Just watched John Carpenters The Fog...did my usual post movie routine of checking out the trivia on it on IMDB...when I see that some cunt is making a remake/sequel to it. Dear lord....I think we can guess what we're going to get.... Stevie played by latest bint ala Linsey Lohan, young teen cast, quickfire MTV editing and bullet-time CGI fog.
