Holy fuck I wasn't expecting that. I caught this on TV tonight, and was unexpectedly crept the hell out. Not overly gory or jumpy. But there were moments that made me shiver and that one scene towards the end I had to squint through.

I was confused about one part though

What was up with Simon. Were Gordo and Mary just crazy as fuck, or was Simon supposed to be some type of demon? Very creepy

Plus I liked the look of the film. I'm not sure what was used but it gave it a unique look and seemed "realistic".

I've always wanted to see an effects heavy horror/sci-fi/fantasy using video instead of film. If it's ever used in the right way it could be scary/badass in ways never seen before.

I also really liked this movie, and have it on DVD. It actually was shot on 24P Hi-Def just like Once Upon a Time in Mexico and Attack of the Clones.

Session 9 is seriously an awesome movie. Haven't seen a horror type movie as good since it was released.

Really enjoyed that film. Felt a lot like The Shining, but different.

It was a great set as well. Very Silent Hill at times...

i had heard all sorts of great things about session 9 before picking it up, but was pretty disappointed with it. there were moments of genuine creepiness, but the rest wasn't all that great.
