Shadowrun is a FPS?

Awesome news is true. I hope it preserves all of its rpg elements. It would have been nicer as a third person action rpg, but fps helps with aiming. so no complaints here.
 
:lol @ the way the guy talks about an officially not announced game.. He even explains that the game is based on a pen and paper rpg part..

A FPS/RPG hybrid in the world of shadowrun would rock. I hope it won't be a run and gun type of game..

Makes sense to me, Shadowrun had real time combat, and gunplay played a big part of the game, I think it fits into the Deus Ex mold perfectly.
 
Then make it like Fallout or something with real time combat, not a Dues Ex clone.

To be fair we don't know what it'll be though, so I'm not too concerned just yet.
 
What the fuck is wrong with people in this thread?! A Deus-Ex like ShadowRun game will FUCKING ROCK!
This is the game that might make me buy a xb360.

Microsoft bought FASA Interactive,and Everyone that worked for FASA Inc moved over to WIZKids which was created by one of the co-creators of FASA.(I forgot which one) As far as I know the people who worked for FASA interactive then still work for them today, Mostly working on BattleTech games.

Pretty almost everyone from the FASA Interactive purchase is no longer involved with FASA Studios, in that they have either left Microsoft, or have moved to different groups. Jordan Weisman created FASA and FASA Interactive, and worked at Microsoft for a number of years but wanted to become move involved with FASA Books, so he started WizKidz, which later sold to Topps. Now Jordan runs 4orty2wo, which did ilovebees.
So pretty much what I'm trying to say is that FASA Studios currently really has no relation to FASA Interactive. Also there is no one working on BattleTech games, because FASA Studios has one team currently.
 
If the game sports a visual style that comes anywhere near this, then I'll be happy

Hey, do you know how John Titor is these days? Does he and his family have enough plants to live on in the commune?
 
I just hope its not half-assed like Vampire, which I thought was ok but felt very constricting and basically a huge dissapointment.
