Surely that depends on the type of goose?

You can shoot most species in the UK, except on Sundays or Christmas Day in some parts, and the Greenland White-fronted Goose is completely off limits.

I'm not entirely sure. You can hunt/shoot/hurt them but only outside cities and only on hunting seasons or something.

That's... pretty standard around the developed world. For good reasons, and at least in the UK a bit of tradition.

There's addling programs in our region but it's not enough by itself. Culls or the beaches and water would be toxic within a few years. Conservation tried some tech stuff a last year with lights and ultrasound but that was removed. Haven't read any studies about the effectiveness, but the geese looked unfazed during the trial.
