Same goes against human attacks too.Problem is in Canada, it's illegal to actually harm a goose. You can't even defend yourself lol.
Surely that depends on the type of goose?I heard some weird stories about goose attacks. Problem is in Canada, it's illegal to actually harm a goose. You can't even defend yourself lol.

You can shoot most species in the UK, except on Sundays or Christmas Day in some parts, and the Greenland White-fronted Goose is completely off limits.
That's... pretty standard around the developed world. For good reasons, and at least in the UK a bit of tradition.I'm not entirely sure. You can hunt/shoot/hurt them but only outside cities and only on hunting seasons or something.
Wild turkeys are so much more chill.Fuck geese.
No thanks.Fuck geese.
Cant see it visually thanks TC for nothing
they could have put the eyes and mouth off to the side just a bit more to convey you're actually shaking your head. this looks like some weird cheek stress.
Canadians will never know what a goose tastes like.I heard some weird stories about goose attacks. Problem is in Canada, it's illegal to actually harm a goose. You can't even defend yourself lol.
They'll apply anti-cruelty laws to any animal.Same goes against human attacks too.
It's not a problem if you know how to approach them. You need to be a goose whisperer.I heard some weird stories about goose attacks. Problem is in Canada, it's illegal to actually harm a goose. You can't even defend yourself lol.
Sure we do.Canadians will never know what a goose tastes like.
I know. I was teasing trying to show the flaw in the claim.Sure we do.
You wait for winter?I know. I was teasing trying to show the flaw in the claim.
We usually cook one during the coldest parts of winter. Flavour.
There's addling programs in our region but it's not enough by itself. Culls or the beaches and water would be toxic within a few years. Conservation tried some tech stuff a last year with lights and ultrasound but that was removed. Haven't read any studies about the effectiveness, but the geese looked unfazed during the trial. You wait for winter?
We've got these porky, arrogant bastards lounging about all over the city!
Time for a good culling!
