What's your favorite, the first one or the sequel? I might be flamed for this, but I found both these movies to be enjoyable. Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan rocks! I heard a third is coming that is called Shanghai Dawn. This makes me happy :) The sequel to Noon is surprisingly good for being a sequel.

Both were good, hard to choose. Probably Noon though, but the action was better in Knights, I think.

Noon is great. I actually had a surreal experience watching Shanghai Noon in a hotel in Shanghai one night while I was visiting China a few years back. It was in Chinese with English sub-titles. :)

Knights was a major let down.

Shnghai Knights has some fantastic fight scenes, but unfortunately they can only be seen in the extra features. Shanghai Noon was funnier though.

I enjoyed Knights. Don't remember much of it though.

Noon feels really long. The cinematography is beautiful and much of the action is good but it needed another pass through the Avid.

Ash Housewares

The Mountain Jew
neither of those has Roselyn Sanchez so I vote Rush Hour 2

they're both decent and Knights had fewer pei pei jokes and a better soundtrack

needs to show more effort.
As a movie, I didn't really like Shanghai Knights, but damn did the dude with two swords at the end kick ass.

Noon was a god movie though.

And to think, in the extras, he said he knew nothing about swordfighting. So all credit goes to Jackie's choreography for making the other guy look bad ass.

Noon is more of a Wilson movie than a Chan movie.. Knights is more of a HK movie, while Noon is Hollywood lite version of a HK movie.... therefore Knights >>> Noon.

(talking about the Chinese Imperial Guards)
"They're not like any Injuns I ever seen, Jedediah."
"That's because they're not Injuns, woman. They're Jews!"

:lol :lol

I love that line

I instead choose a bullet to my own head. But Donnie Yen rocked in Knights... just like he rocked in Highlander.

And was grossly underused in Blade 2.

Well he wasn't really suppose to be in Blade, that was a last minute thing, he was doing fight choreography and they really liked him and decided to create a part for him real quick.

Now the dumb thing about this... who's the f'n moron who hired Donnie Yen for fight choregrapher and doesn't realize how talented he is and build a bigger role for him!

His fight with Adrian Paul is the best part of Highlander: Endgame.

It was great. Pretty bad when the best fight in a highlander movie is in the middle. At least I got something out of the movie though.

knights made me really sad when donnie yen and jackie chan were on screen and had one of the weakest fights i've seen from either of them.
