I bought a R0 DVD of Shaolin Soccer a while ago and the subbed translation is really horrible at times, is it the same in whichever region (R1?) you guys got in the US? And anyone who has a R4 copy, what's the translation like in that?

US theatrical version with subs = better edited movie that doesn't kill some of the jokes by overusing them. If I recall correctly, there's only 15 - 20 minutes difference between the two versions, so the choice is yours. You'll love it either way
