Shift Up says it “doesn’t tolerate any expressions of hate” in NIKKE following backlash over alleged “small genital” gesture

Wow Omg GIF

Does the outrage means it is true and players see evil in everything and didn't like having it rubbed on their faces? (in their minds only)
(I've never been with Korean guys, don't have and idea of average sizes there)

South Korea are near the bottom of the list.

Our incels have nothing on theirs.

Though to be fair it can be deliberate - I mean both hands, the same gesture? But at the same time it is basically a standard write to draw these fingers. On a lot of art, it looks similar.

Not the first time something like this happened. Moon Channel made a video on this exact subject a year ago. If you have time to spare and interested? It's a 47 minute chonker giving a lot of context for the subject. The guy is a bit of a fedora tipping male feminist, but the information *is* good.

I have jerked off to femdom before and those are just regular hands. The "SPH" (small peepee humiliation) gesture is different & way more deliberate. Either the Korean crab hand is different or more likely these players have been addled by their country's culture war. :pie_thinking:

Yesterday I was browsing Twitter and found lots of complains about this, and didn't really understand until I went into the specifics of how idols are cancelled because they might do half a heart with a fan but someone took the picture from a side and so looked as if they were doing the micropenis gesture. Man, had I known this I would have had so much fun whenever BTS fans would come asking to not to use BTS as in behind-the-scenes. There is a whole Wikipedia article dedicated to that.

It's part of gender war, I heard. The hand gesture originated from a misandristic radical feminist group called Megallia.
Then bunch of illustrators who shared same misandristic value, started to adding those gestures in their illustrations.

The problem became pretty big when those illustrators were putting those hand symbols into their professional works they did for the companies. (Meaning, game illustrations and animations etc)

So men started boycotting said illustrators works and whatever games they were involved. The companies lost a lot of money and user base because of this - so they either fired the illustrators - or make sure that those hand symbols are not included in their games to avoid any sort of controversy. Some even re-did/edit those anime sequences etc.

It's somewhat similar to recent Sweet Baby boycott thing on Steam.
