A soon-to-be revealed promo that leaked early. We're not exactly sure as to the details, but it seems that if you register both SMTIV and FEA you get a thirty dollar eShop credit. Again, we don't have the details but that's where it seems to be headed.

Not that I need any more incentive to get this game, but I hope we get some more solid details on that $30 eShop credit thing. That could sway whether or not I pick up ACNL.

The folks who got into Fire Emblem with Awakening should make use of this awesome promo to get into SMT now.
I assume Nintendo is responsible for this, so props to then since it will help to promote SMTxFE too.
There's no thread because there's no details yet. For all we know it could be that only digital purchases of FE and SMT4 after July 16th count towards the promotion.

Oh hell yes. This is a great way to get all those FE players into SMT and vice versa, get more people using club nintendo, and make the $50 price tag go down easier.
And for us RPG fans who buy anything it's 'SWEET FREE 30 BUCKS'
So, it seems it says nothing about eShop versions? They're counting retail as well? Because, uh... I've got nothing against $30 free.
As long as you registered, it shouldn't matter if you bought the games digitally or retail.

Thanks to the promo, guess I'll be playing my first SMT game! Too bad it's $50, though.
Nice! I already had FE:A and naturally I've had SMTIV pre-ordered since day one. But I won't say no to more games.

Doesn't say anything about restricting earlier registrations of Awakening or the offer being eShop-only, so I think I'm golden. 'Tis a damned sweet deal, I say.

If this game is going to have a link of any sort to Strange Journey, I may have jump on the 3DS bandwagon right away!
It even mentions owners of the bundled FE 3DS console so it seems like every owner of the game is good to go.

Good gameplay, great music, interesting story and characters. And instead of shuffling Personas you can have three demons in your party at once.
It's turn based if that's what you mean. Otherwise, no. The system in SMT IV is very different from older FF's (and better IMO).
Phallus shaped demons, amazing music, great characters, oppressive atmosphere, tons of fun, and addiction.
