Funny thing here.. Just bought this last sunday along with Band Brothers DS.... It's still in shrinkwrap. Actually my importer had it held for me at least a month or two. :/ My Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana is still in shrinkwrap as well XD

Shining Tears is so awful it makes you want to break the game. At least that's how I felt from the one and only hour I will ever put into that game.

Really? o-o.. Hows it compare to the Shining Souls? And here I was pretty interested too, looks pretty in a 2d sorta way.

I don't care what anybody say's about Shining Tears........I am getting this game. it looks great. There has been so many times people on this forums said a game sucked. And than I got that very game that the person was talking about and loved it. Morrowind comes to mind.

Morrowind wasn't a critically panned game where everyone acknowledged that it was just about unplayable. Shining Tears got pretty shit reviews all round in Japan. I hope by saying it "looks great" you're not basing everything on those screenshots because those screenshots aren't moving at 10fps. At least check out some actual gameplay before wasting your money.

Do you mean actually play videos or the offical trailers with gameplay footage?

Because the official trailers were cut in a way you couldn't tell the game ran at 5-10FPS in COMPLETE SLOW MOTION. ARGHHH, even just thinking about the hour I spent with the game and it's crappy controls (partly due to the slow motion everything), horrible animation (looks like flash), and just lame everything was too much. I mean when the slowdown is so bad even just READING TEXT BOXES runs in slow motion...wow...the game has like the opposite of polish.

Within a few days of release I must've seen 30 used copies at the game stores I was dumb and didn't sell mine when I could still get at least 50%.

The only rpgs I've ever shelved without finishing this gen are WA3 and ST. At least I stuck with WA3 for 10 hours. There was no way I was going to put ST in my system again after one play session. >.<
