Seeing these setups (especially the giant ****ing televisions) makes me realize two things:
1. Now I know why you're pissed about the Wii's graphics, and why you probably notice little shit like "grass textures" and "great lighting."
2. I am woefully behind. I got a 32" flatscreen SDTV. Maybe I will get something that looks as nice as some of these some day.
I am thoroughly impressed with a lot of this, rich kids or not. I see great style, and I like it!

I finally redid my living room this year, family life, bills, a new car, etc, these things are not as cheap as I humbly request they should be.
It's not killer fancy, but I refuse to spend *that* much money on AV equipment. I got a 360, a new fairly nice stand, an HD set, and still my good ol' 5.1 setup.
I wish I could show mine, but I lost my cable for my camera and cant upload of of the shots to my PC. =/ In addition to this, I tried to order one off of monoprice thereafter, and once again, got the wrong one.
Yeah, I fail.

BTW - I don't have a digital camera right now, but I'll draw a beautiful MS Paint representation of my new setup in the coming weeks. I know everyone is tickled pink with, um, the anticipation feather.

Actually they are JBL Northridge speakers. JBL has recently replaced them with a new line of speakers. ('Studio' series I think). I am admittedly not an audiophile but I got the entire 5.1 setup with a 12" sub and 3-way center for around 700 online and they are more than good enough for me.Shawn128 said:

Everyone's setups are great in different ways. I personally like to see all the setups with huge collections of old-school stuff, even though it's not really my style (I personally put away anything as soon as it can be emulated, hence the soon-to-be-built HTPC case under my TV).
I especially liked one setup in the 2006 thread with an old Neo-Geo MVS cabinet. RESPEK.

Tanukid & I have a modest little setup for the time being. We'll probably upgrade to HD later this year, but for now, since we don't have any next-gen platforms, we're content with what we have.
Not all of our consoles, but it's what our setup looks like at the moment. Handhelds just there because we grab those when the mood strikes. Otherwise it's mostly the consoles that are there.
Where we primarily keep our collection. Not including our Dreamcast, NES, N64, GC, PS2 and handheld (except NGPC) libraries.
But seeing the nice HD setups here, gives people like me something to shoot for I think. Keep 'em coming!

Its not a bad set-up you just go a bad layout. First. Get a new cabinet. Decorate the room more and try to get a more brighter couch. My set up coming soon...using VGA webcam.
EDIT:Ok..im not bothering with posting my set-up...Digital camera USB cord is lost..and VGA sucks..
