Never posted in one of these threads before. I envy some of your setups. Unfortunately, I'm in the military, live in barracks and in Japan, so I don't have a 40+ LCD or Plasma (it's hard to ship them here). My PS One, SNES, Turbo Duo, Genesis, Saturn and Misc stuff is in New York. My 2008 gaming setup will probably have a tv stand, sound system, HTIB PC and 40+ LCD (hopefully the prices come own).

Thanks Father Mike! I'm glad someone besides us likes it, nothing else could really compare for our tastes when we were looking. I like the rough finish because if you put a dent or something in it you can fix it up with a black pen or whatever - highly recommended!

It is real wood - stained pine, nothing particularly fancy. I'm in Australia so I can't help you on where to get it sorry (unless you're in Australia of course).

Well you got a good point there with great tips, thanks for that. But the thing is; I have been switching the couch and game/movie seats around and as a result I am sitting more then 50 cm closer to the setup. And the CRT is 32" (and found a happy and warm home with my inlaws ) , the Bravia is 40"..

Well there you go! my point was so valid it was heeded before I had to even say anything! haha

That is some really nicely made stuff man. Where did you get your skills with 80/20? That stuff isn't easy to work with all the time (from what I know). I'm a finishing carpenter and have some pretty incredible ideas for entertainment units as well, but I never thought to go with 80/20 and plexi. Wow!!!!

I have a shelf all drawn up somewhere that is snowboards too. Your's looks better though.

Okay, I'll finally post something. It's somewhat difficult for me to post my setups, because live in two places (Home and college).

Yes, I'm using an SDTV for my PS3 and Xbox 360. Can't afford an HDTV right now.

My PC is a Sony Vaio Z Series.

My Bedroom at home. Yeah, I'm a Bulls fan.

I have ALL my game consoles hooked up. Cannot find a picture of my Xbox though (not featured in any pic, since I moved it to the basement, but did not update that pic).

All my gaming boxes I kept:

All my PS3 (except for Resistance), PS2, PSP, DS, and Xbox 360 games I own are with me in my apartment.

The rest of my games are back at home. The rest of my games can be found on my Flickr.

My computer, Been playing a lot of Freespace at the moment and that's why the stick is a bit in the way. Also note the somewhat disgusting mousepad that I also use as a notepad.

Most of my games, the white shelf to the far left is reserved for DVDs mostly.

Part of this was visible in the previous picture, anyway this is my books/manga & comics shelves. Also a bunch of games at the top.

And here's my rather old TV, considering that it works perfectly and that I don't own any of the next gen consoles yet I can live with it. But I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't itching to get a new one. Maybe later.

I moved the GC and PS2 to the bottom and the upcoverting DVD player to the top and my 360 is on top of that. Also the DVD player is connected via HDMI now, and I the SS reciever thing to the TV stand (bottom left of the TV).

Not going to bother trying to post most of my games, I'll save that for some other time...
